The author's lessons learned tie the setup to the identity service's own constraints: the subaccount needs a Connectivity Plan and must share the Cloud Identity Service tenant's region, and on the ABAP side an IAS group lands as a Business Role rather than in SUGR, with the Login Name mapped to SU01's user field.","short":"Identity Provisioning into an ABAP Cloud Developer Trial","author":"Laurence","published":"2025-09-04","provenance":{"discovered_via":[{"source":"source:sap-community","channel":"btp-tag"},{"source":"source:sap-community","channel":"cloud-identity-services-tag"}],"first_seen":"2026-10-03"},"drafted_with_ai":true,"history":[{"date":"2026-10-17","field":"explains","from":null,"to":"applies_to on capability:rfc-connectivity","reason":"Door scope derived from the artifacts this piece also explains, so a door page lists it only where it holds (docs/concepts/content-on-doors.md)."}]},"readings":{"liveness":[{"label":"Checked against the source","tier":"unknown","evidence":"nobody has checked it"},{"label":"Source reachable","tier":"unknown","evidence":"not crawled"},{"label":"Age","tier":"fair","evidence":"published 13 months ago"}],"compatibility":[{"label":"Version","tier":"unknown","evidence":"no version declared"},{"label":"Moved since?","tier":"good","evidence":"no recorded change after 2025-09-04"},{"label":"Findings","tier":"good","evidence":"none flagged"}],"reach":[{"value":3701,"unit":"views"},{"value":0,"unit":"comments"},{"value":3,"unit":"likes"}]},"signals":{"views":3701,"likes":3,"comments":0,"metrics_at":"2026-10-25"},"series":null,"edges":{"authors":[]}}
