Covers both ends: deploying the process in the SBPA designer and finding the workflow instance id it produces, then wiring the CAP side to it. Written against the first beta, released 26 April 2026, so the shape is settled but the surface may not be.","short":"Starting a Build Process Automation workflow with @cap-js/process","author":"Jacky Liu","published":"2026-07-02","written_against":"@cap-js/process beta","sources":[{"url":"https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blog-posts-by-sap/trigger-an-sap-build-process-automation-workflow-from-cap-using-the-cap-js/ba-p/14431324","title":"Trigger an SAP Build Process Automation Workflow from CAP Using the @cap-js/process Plugin — SAP Community","checked":"2026-09-07"}],"provenance":{"discovered_via":[{"source":"source:sap-community","channel":"cap-tag"}],"first_seen":"2026-09-07"},"drafted_with_ai":true,"published_on":"source:sap-community"},"readings":{"liveness":[{"label":"Checked against the source","tier":"unknown","evidence":"nobody has checked it"},{"label":"Source reachable","tier":"unknown","evidence":"not crawled"},{"label":"Age","tier":"good","evidence":"published 3 months ago"}],"compatibility":[{"label":"Version","tier":"unknown","evidence":"cds @cap-js/process beta"},{"label":"Moved since?","tier":"good","evidence":"no recorded change after 2026-07-02"},{"label":"Findings","tier":"good","evidence":"none flagged"}],"reach":[{"value":1712,"unit":"views"},{"value":1,"unit":"comments"},{"value":4,"unit":"likes"}]},"signals":{"views":1712,"likes":4,"comments":1,"metrics_at":"2026-10-25"},"series":null,"edges":{"authors":[]}}
