Caching
Holding the result of an expensive read so the next one is cheap. This spans four different things people call caching — HTTP response caching, query result caching, remote service response caching, and application-level memoisation. They are not interchangeable, and picking the wrong one is the usual cause of stale-data bugs in multitenant apps.

For the things here it is the shared cache, the queue or the pub/sub channel that lets several application instances behave as one. on SAP BTP, in a hyperscaler edition and an older one, is the managed cache an application binds; there is no application-level caching layer in the platform, the store is the answer.
