Terms of use
The atlas is free to read, for people and for their agents. These terms say what that comes with, and what it does not.
Last changed
1. What the atlas is
A curated, connected map of the SAP development ecosystem, operated by Mike Zaschka (see the imprint) as an independent, non-commercial community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by SAP SE. Using the site or the MCP server means accepting these terms.
2. No warranty, no advice
Everything here is provided as is. Readings are mechanical thresholds on numbers crawled from public sources at a stated time; prose is the dated opinion of its named author; nothing is verified by running it, and nothing is a recommendation, a certification or professional advice. The state of a package can change the day after it was crawled. Check the source that every fact links to before you rely on it, and make your own decision about what to build on.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, its data or the MCP server, including decisions taken on the basis of a reading, a piece of prose or a gap. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
3. Third-party content and links
The atlas links to registries, repositories, documentation and writing owned by other people, and quotes short excerpts to make a claim checkable. That content remains theirs and is subject to their terms and licences. A link, an edge or a content item is a fact about where something is, not an endorsement of it.
4. Reusing the data and the prose
The graph is public, as a JSON file beside every page and whole at /graph.json. Crawled facts — versions, dates, counts — are facts and carry no claim. The structure and the editorial prose are protected by copyright. A licence for reuse has not yet been declared; until it is, you may quote the prose with attribution and a link to the page, and you may use the atlas as a source in your own work, but republishing the curated prose in bulk requires permission. A crawler may read the site at a reasonable rate; do not overload it.
5. The MCP server
The MCP endpoint at /mcp answers from a bundled copy of the graph and is subject to the same absence of warranty as the site. Its output is a lookup, not a verification.
6. Contributions
By proposing a change — through GitHub or the contact form — you confirm that you are entitled to contribute it and agree to its publication under the same terms as the rest of the atlas, attributed to you. Grades are not accepted, because there are none; facts with sources are.
7. Trademarks
SAP and the SAP product names used in the atlas are trademarks or registered trademarks of SAP SE and are used only to identify the technologies described. The name of the atlas contains no SAP mark; its domain, package and organisation names never will.
8. Changes and applicable law
These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did, and the history is public. German law applies. For consumers, the mandatory protections of the country of residence are not affected.
