Overview
In the SAP BTP ABAP environment, ABAP Cloud restricts extensibility to objects SAP has released for cloud development, reached through a restricted ABAP language version, the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model, and ABAP Development Tools rather than SAP GUI.
Not covered: An extension can only use repository objects carrying a release contract: unreleased tables, unreleased objects, and SAP GUI-based modification, the routes standard ABAP allows, stay out of reach until SAP releases the object or a custom wrapper is built and released through API enablement.
