Overview
RAP is the transactional model of ABAP Cloud, not an alternative to one: SAP-samples/abap-cheat-sheetsSAP-samples/abap-cheat-sheetsA collection of ABAP syntax cheat sheets, from internal tables to RAP's Entity Manipulation Language, each backed by an executable demo class you import into an ABAP system with abapGit.sap official, abap states that the SAP LUW concept still applies there and that "the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is the transactional programming model for ABAP Cloud".
Not covered: Classic update-task bundling is one of the language features the restricted ABAP for Cloud Development version drops, and SAP's own Business Object Processing Framework page directs new applications toward RAP or another ABAP Cloud technology rather than BOPF.
