SAP-samples/abap-platform-rap-transactional-outbox-with-bgpf
A reference example of the transactional outbox pattern in ABAP Cloud, using the background processing framework (bgPF) to decouple a database change from the follow-up action it triggers.
Demonstrates the cloud-native transactional outbox pattern in ABAP Cloud, using the background processing framework (bgPF) to decouple a database change from the message or follow-up action it triggers. The repository points to an accompanying SAP Community blog post for the reasoning behind the pattern and keeps the code itself to a single, minimal example rather than a full application. It expects an ABAP system reachable from ABAP Development Tools, with S_DEVELOP authorisations on-premise or the SAP_BR_DEVELOPER role in the cloud.
