UI flexibility service
Key-user adaptation and personalisation for UI5 applications on SAP BTP: UI changes, shared views, drafts and versions, stored by the service and applied at runtime.
The UI flexibility service lets the users of a UI5 application change its user interface without modifying the app, in a way that survives an upgrade and affects no other customer. Key users add, hide or rearrange fields and rename labels on supported controls, and the changes are applied at runtime while the original app stays untouched. They also publish filter and table views to all authorised end users, save changes as a draft before activating them as a new version, and reactivate a recent version or start a new draft from it; end users save personal views and personalise link lists. What can be changed or personalised depends on the control. The service is multitenant, and customer-managed encryption keys are available on request.
