hhelibeb/blowfish-abap

A Blowfish cipher implemented directly in ABAP after Bruce Schneier's definition, encrypting and decrypting strings in ECB and CBC mode through one class, on ABAP 750 or higher.

blowfish-abap implements the Blowfish cipher in ABAP, as defined by Bruce Schneier and written with reference to his C# source. The class zcl_blowfish takes a key on construction and exposes encrypt_cbc and decrypt_cbc over a string; ECB and CBC are the modes it covers. It needs ABAP 750 or higher, and support for ABAP 740 is still unticked on the maintainer's to-do list.

blowfish-abap

Blowfish encryption in ABAP

ABAP Version: 750 or higher

Blowfish encryption (ECB and CBC MODE) as defined by Bruce Schneier here: http://www.schneier.com/paper-blowfish-fse.html

The blowfish-abap is implemented with reference to C# source code.

Usage

DATA(blowfish) = NEW zcl_blowfish( CONV #( '04B915BA43FEB5B6' ) ).

DATA(plain) = 'The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.'.
DATA(cipher) = blowfish->encrypt_cbc( CONV #( plain ) ).
plain        = blowfish->decrypt_cbc( cipher ).

cl_demo_output=>display( plain && cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline && cipher ).
