btp-gen-ai-hub-sdk-samples

Setup instructions for SAP AI Core's Generative AI Hub, SAP AI Launchpad and the client tools, with Python notebooks that connect to the hub.

The Generative AI Hub reaches large language models from several providers, among them GPT-4 by Azure OpenAI and the open-source Falcon-40b, and the repository states two ways in: the APIs of the hub itself, or the playground inside SAP AI Launchpad. It documents setting the hub up under docs/setup-ai-core-genaihub, installing the additional client tools, and holds Python notebooks under docs/notebook-samples showing how to connect. It assumes an SAP BTP enterprise account with SAP AI Core on the Extended service plan and AI Launchpad on Standard. It stops at the setup and the connection; what is built on top is left to the reader.
