hana-shine-xsa

SHINE, SAP's demo application for learning SAP HANA Extended Application Services, Advanced Model, shipped as a Multi-Target Application with sample data, tables, views, OData services and a UI.

Learning to build on SAP HANA Extended Application Services, Advanced Model (XS Advanced) has no obvious starting point once the pieces multiply, so SHINE packages a whole application to read instead. It ships as a Multi-Target Application with sample data and design-time developer objects for the database tables, views, OData services and user interface, following the XS Advanced Programming Model. It runs on XS Advanced on premise, with a branch tracking each SAP HANA 2.0 support package from SPS00 to SPS08 and a 1.0 branch back to SPS11.

What is it

SAP HANA Interactive Education, or SHINE, is a demo application that makes it easy to learn how to build applications on SAP HANA extended application services advanced model. This demo application is delivered as a package that contains sample data and design-time developer objects for the applications database tables, views, OData and user interface. SHINE is a Muti-Target Application (MTA) and follows the XS Advanced Programming Model
