SAP Custom Domain Service
Exposes a BTP application publicly under the customer's own domain instead of the default subdomain, with the TLS/SSL certificate and TLS configuration that domain is served with.
An application on BTP is reachable under a default subdomain, not under a name its customers recognise. SAP Custom Domain Service configures a custom domain of the customer's own to expose the application publicly. The TLS/SSL certificate for that domain is uploaded to the service, TLS protocol versions, cipher suites and HTTP/2 are configured there, and a dashboard shows KPIs for each custom domain, including predictive expiration warnings. Its CLI and UI both work in tenant-aware (multitenantMultitenancyServing many tenants from one deployment — onboarding, tenant-isolated data, per-tenant schema deployment and the operational tooling around it. It is decided once, before anything is built, and narrows the artifacts in almost every capability downstream: most sharply in caching and anything else holding state in process.SAP and community, narrow by design) applications, and it manages custom domains in the extension landscapes of SAP BTP too. In the regions marked Neo, the service is being removed from the Eligible Cloud Services List on December 31, 2028, and a subscription there cannot be kept past that date.
