Integration Advisor

Specifies B2B message interfaces and the mappings between them from a library of standards, and generates the schemas and scripts an integration flow runs, inside SAP Integration Suite.

Integration Advisor is for the case where business partners use different message standards, such as UN/EDIFACT, SAP IDoc and ASC X12, and every pairing would otherwise need an interface written by hand. It holds a library of type systems, each kept by the agency that owns the standard, and custom type systems for messages uploaded as XSD. From one message a message implementation guideline (MIG) is tailored, a mapping guideline (MAG) maps a source MIG onto a target MIG, graphically or from an uploaded XSLT file, and the runtime artifacts generated from it are XSD schemas and XSLT scripts for syntax conversion, validation, pre- and post-processing and the mapping itself. Those are injected into a Cloud Integration tenant or exported; Integration Advisor itself runs nothing. SAP describes its proposals as a crowd-based machine learning approach over content its users share.
