Intelligent Situation Automation

Resolves SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud business situations automatically by applying business rules, as an extension of Situation Handling with a dashboard over the time it saves.

Intelligent Situation Automation is an extension of Situation Handling in SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud. It processes a situation SAP's Situation Handling framework raises and resolves it automatically by applying business rules, rather than leaving it for a person to act on, which SAP states reduces the time users spend on routine manual and repetitive tasks. A dashboard shows the time saved by automated resolution and surfaces further situations worth automating; an analysis view breaks down situation instances by type with their resolution flow, and a related-situations view shows how entity types and situation templates connect. The free plan requires an SAP Event Mesh subscription for full functionality. SAP removed it from the list of Eligible Cloud Services as of 1 April 2026 and it is not available for renewal; SAP's deprecation blog post on SAP Community carries the announcement.
