Amazon Web Services
Amazon's cloud platform, with accounts, regions, a command-line interface and CloudFormation templates that provision resources. For the things here it is the account an SAP tool is deployed into, next to the SAP systems it reads from.
Where it sits
Used by
Required dependency. The account the agents are deployed into: AWS ships them as CloudFormation templates that provision compute, networking, IAM roles and agent configuration, and local, ECS Fargate, EKS and Bedrock AgentCore are the documented deployment options.
Functional boundary
There is nothing to clone here: "Access is provided through a registration page. Once registered, you will receive access to the GitHub repository containing the agents, deployment guides, and documentation", and that repository answers 404 to anyone who has not registered, so neither the agent code nor the deployment guides can be read before the form is filled in. AWS states the agents are published as an unsupported solution, with customers responsible for testing and securing the code before deploying in production, and that they are intended for non-production SAP environments rather than production systems. The documentation link in the README is still a placeholder.
Connected from
data, HTTP, outbound. Calls to an AWS API, signed with Signature Version 4; the three example classes call AWS endpoints, and the README names importing the endpoint's certificate into STRUST for an HTTPS call.
ActivityNo published releases; repository quiet for 58 months
data, outbound. the calls each sample's AWS SDK makes to its AWS service, configured so they travel over the private link.
