SAP's reuse library for calling a large language model from ABAP code, powered by Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management and reaching the models in the Generative AI Hub; delivered with SAP BTP ABAP environment, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public and Private Edition and SAP S/4HANA.
A business application in ABAP that wants a model call, an invoice classified or a text summarised, needs the call, the connection and the configuration, and the ABAP AI SDK is SAP's library for the first while Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management holds the other two. It is delivered with the release: SAP BTP ABAP environment, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, and Private Edition and on-premise as of release 2025 by standard delivery, with releases from 2021 supported through Transport-based Correction Instructions under SAP Note 3513374.
