btp-abap-cna
A RAP bonus-calculation extension that runs side by side with S/4HANA Cloud across Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment and Kyma, together with the Destination and Event Mesh services.
Reading about a side-by-side extension spread across several BTP runtimes is one thing; seeing one wired together is another. This reference application demonstrates the cloud native capabilities of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) across Cloud Foundry, the ABAP Environment and Kyma, together with the Destination and Event MeshEvent MeshManaged queues and topics over AMQP, MQTT and a REST gateway, and the bus SAP's own applications publish their business events to.sap official, btp services. It implements a bonus calculation extension, pulled into the ABAP Environment through abapGitabapGitA Git client written in ABAP that runs inside the system, so objects are cloned, pulled and pushed without leaving it; with no package manager in ABAP, a cloned repository is how code is distributed.community org, abap and previewed as a Fiori elements app once its service binding is published. Running it needs an S/4HANA Cloud landscape and a BTP subaccount with Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment and Kyma Runtime enabled, plus an Event Mesh service entitlement.
