btp-abap-cna

A RAP bonus-calculation extension that runs side by side with S/4HANA Cloud across Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment and Kyma, together with the Destination and Event Mesh services.

Reading about a side-by-side extension spread across several BTP runtimes is one thing; seeing one wired together is another. This reference application demonstrates the cloud native capabilities of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) across Cloud Foundry, the ABAP Environment and Kyma, together with the Destination and Event Mesh services. It implements a bonus calculation extension, pulled into the ABAP Environment through abapGit and previewed as a Fiori elements app once its service binding is published. Running it needs an S/4HANA Cloud landscape and a BTP subaccount with Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment and Kyma Runtime enabled, plus an Event Mesh service entitlement.
