SAP Build Apps

SAP's low-code platform for web and native mobile applications, built by drag and drop, with no-code backends and access to SAP systems through BTP authentication and destinations.

SAP Build Apps is a low-code development platform for applications that run on the web and as native mobile apps, for business users who write no code and for developers who want less of it in data models and business logic. The user interface is assembled by drag and drop from a library of customisable components, logic flows and formulas for transforming data, and team members can work on it together and preview changes in real time. The backend is no-code as well: built-in cloud functions persist data and run application logic, on their own or together with existing SAP data models. An app consumes data from the cloud or from SAP systems through SAP BTP authentication and the SAP Destination service, and integrates other modern APIs. The Discovery Center record states that the service is scheduled to be removed from the list of Eligible Cloud Services as of October 01, 2026, is not available for renewal terms that begin after that date, and that the application development capabilities of SAP Build now include its features.
