SAP Responsibility Management service

A BTP service that resolves who is responsible for a business process, object or work item from condition-based rules or teams, and notifies them, for a workflow or another framework to call.

SAP Responsibility Management service determines who is responsible for a business process, object or work item, and notifies that person automatically. A responsibility is set either as a condition-based rule the service evaluates, or as a call mapped to an API on an external system, and it can resolve to an individual or to a team with its own owners, members and functions. A framework such as a workflow calls the service to look up the responsible agent rather than hard-coding one, and an execution log records how each determination was reached. It runs in tenant-aware, multitenant applications.
