SAP Cloud Transport Management
Moves software deliverables between SAP BTP accounts along a modelled landscape of transport nodes and routes: Multitarget Application archives, and application-specific content such as SAP Cloud Integration iFlows.
SAP Cloud Transport Management moves software deliverables between accounts on their way to production: development content as Multitarget Application archives, and application-specific content such as SAP Cloud Integration iFlows. Source and target environments are modelled as transport nodes joined by routes, star topologies included, and a transport can start from a content tool that supports it, the SAP Cloud Integration Web UI in SAP's example. At a target, the import queue is imported whole, by selected request, or on a schedule. Transports cross global accounts in the Cloud Foundry environment and stay within one global account in the SAP BTP ABAP environmentSAP BTP ABAP environmentSAP's ABAP runtime on BTP: ABAP systems developed in the ABAP Cloud model on SAP HANA Cloud, for cloud apps, OData services and side-by-side extensions of SAP S/4HANA.sap official, btp. SAP places it beside an existing CI/CDCI/CD pipelinesA pipeline that builds, tests and delivers an application each time its source repository changes, with a build log that shows which step failed. Deployment describes getting the build onto its target runtime.SAP only solution as the control over what reaches production, and it runs without an on-premise system.

- Use change and deployment management in an ABAP environment with confidenceUse change and deployment management in an ABAP environment with confidenceSAP Cloud Transport Management with SAP Cloud ALM as the governed way to move changes from a cloud-optimised ABAP environment into production: the abstract says the session sets out the process, where it differs from classic transport mechanisms, the current state of every content type it carries, and an outlook on deploying agents through it, which is the transport management concern on the cloud side. What each content type covers, and when agent deployment arrives, is not stated. The chain from alert to remediation is the operations automation concern; what the Joule agent decides on its own is not in the abstract.
