SAP Translation Hub
SAP's translation service for software texts and documents, drawing on repositories of verified and company translations and on machine translation by SAP's neural MT or large language models.
SAP Translation Hub translates software and UI texts, ABAP extensions and BTP apps, and through its Document Translation service, text and files. Software translation draws on a multilingual text repository of verified translations, a company repository of the customer's own translations, or SAP's neural machine translation and large language models, and gives each translation a quality estimate from 0 to 100 on the UI and through the translate API. A software translation project takes its content from files, Git repositories or ABAP systems, and ABAP extensions can also be translated directly in the ABAP backend system. Document Translation machine translates into more than 40 target languages with engines trained on SAP-related content, or into 54 with large language models from SAP's generative AI hub, which SAP recommends for non-SAP content. Both halves have APIs, including a sync and an async API for documents; in the regions marked Neo, the service is being removed from the Eligible Cloud Services List on December 31, 2028, and a subscription there cannot be kept past that date.
