capire/skills

SAP's own skill set for coding agents working on CAP — cap-developer, cap-add-remote-service, cap-upgrade and cap-trivia, each a SKILL.md with references beside it.

The knowledge a coding agent otherwise guesses at, packaged in the open skill standard and installable four ways: the skills CLI, a Claude Code plugin marketplace, a Copilot marketplace source, or a symlink into the tool's config folder. cap-developer carries separate Node.js and Java references; cap-upgrade carries a manual-upgrade path and a cds 10 workflow.

Tasks this contributes to1Beta

Check that a coding agent still writes correct CAP codeAfter a model, a prompt or a skill set changes, the agent is given prompts whose expected answer is written down, and what it produced is checked against them.Node.js, JavaAlso in ABAPCoverseval cases for SAP's own CAP skills
What it does

Two skill directories read here carry an eval file. cap-add-remote-service holds three prompts, the expected answer written out for each, and a CAP fixture project at evals/fixture to run them against; cap-developer holds prompts whose assertions are named one by one, and marks every case "stack": "node" or "stack": "java", so the same file asks the question in both CAP flavors.

Remaining work

Run them. No page read here documents a runner, a command or what counts as a pass, so the prompt, the fixture and the comparison are driven by whatever the project already has. The cases are about SAP's own skills, so a project that has written its own skills has written no cases for them.

CAP Skills

About this project

Curated set of skills helping AI coding agents build and maintain CAP applications.

Requirements and Setup

Skills work with AI coding tools that support the open skill standard, such as OpenCode, Claude Code, or VS Code Copilot.

skills CLI

Inside your project, run:

npx skills add https://github.com/capire/skills.git

See skills CLI.

Claude Code Plugin

Inside Claude Code, run:

/plugin marketplace add capire/skills
/plugin install cap-developer@cap

See Claude Code plugins.

VS Code Copilot Plugin

Add the repository to your Copilot marketplace sources in settings.json:

"chat.plugins.marketplaces": [
  "https://github.com/capire/skills.git"
]

In Extensions (Shift+Cmd+X), search for @agentPlugins, find the desired skill, and click "Install".

See Copilot agent plugins.

Symlink the skills/ directory into your tool's config folder:

# OpenCode (project-level)
ln -s /path/to/cap-skills-public/skills .opencode/skills

# OpenCode (global)
ln -s /path/to/cap-skills-public/skills ~/.config/opencode/skills

# Claude Code (project-level)
ln -s /path/to/cap-skills-public/skills .claude/skills

History in the atlas3
  1. node, java
  2. Keeps eval files beside the skills, so a skill can be checked rather than trusted. cap-add-remote-service holds three prompts with the expected output written out and a CAP fixture project at `evals/fixture` to run them against; cap-developer holds prompts whose assertions are named one by one, each case marked "stack": "node" or "stack": "java", so the Node.js and the Java questions are asked separately.
