SAP Power for Kiro

A set of thirty-five-plus SAP skills packaged as a power for Kiro IDE rather than Claude Code, spanning BTP, UI5, data and analytics, ABAP, CAP and CLI tooling, with automatic context activation in Kiro.

Everything else in this section targets Claude Code, Codex or the cross-agent skills CLI; this is packaged as a Kiro "power", with automatic context activation in that IDE. The coverage is deliberately broad rather than deep: fourteen skills across BTP platform services, connectivity, integration and platform operations; four on SAPUI5, Fiori tools and UI patterns; five on Datasphere, Analytics Cloud and data intelligence; six on ABAP, CAP, HANA and AI/ML; and four on CLI tooling, linters and quality. It installs from Kiro's own Powers panel, by copying the folder into the Kiro powers directory, or by cloning into it, and the requirements name Kiro IDE 1.0.0 or higher.

PracticalFunctional boundary

Host-specific: outside Kiro the automatic context activation is the part that does not come with it, and what remains is prose you would have to wire in yourself. Breadth over depth by design — thirty-five skills across six product areas is an orientation layer, not a substitute for the focused sets in each.

🎯 Quick Start

1. Automatic Activation

Simply open any SAP project file, and the power activates automatically:

# Open a CAP project
code my-cap-app/db/schema.cds

# Open a UI5 project
code my-ui5-app/webapp/manifest.json

💡 Usage Examples

Building a CAP Application
// Ask Kiro:
"Create a CAP bookshop service with:
- Books and Authors entities
- Draft support for editing
- Input validation
- OData V4 service"

// Kiro uses sap-cap-capire skill to provide:
// ✅ CDS model with best practices
// ✅ Service implementation patterns
// ✅ Authentication setup
// ✅ Deployment configuration
Creating a Fiori UI
// Ask Kiro:
"Create a Fiori List Report for my Books service with:
- Responsive design
- Custom filters
- Export to Excel
- Accessibility compliance"

// Kiro uses sapui5 and sap-fiori-tools skills
Modernizing ABAP Code
" Ask Kiro:
"Analyze this ABAP code and modernize it using:
- Clean ABAP principles
- CDS views instead of SELECT statements
- Modern ABAP syntax"

" Kiro uses sap-abap and sap-abap-cds skills
BTP Service Integration
// Ask Kiro:
"Configure connectivity to my on-premise SAP ECC system:
- Cloud Connector setup
- Destination configuration
- Authentication handling"

// Kiro uses sap-btp-connectivity skill

History in the atlas4
  1. capability:agent-guidance declared the installs_into property on the BTP door. The README's requirements name Kiro IDE 1.0.0 or higher and all three install routes are Kiro's, so the one value is the whole answer here, which is the fact the entry's own warning already turned on.
  2. A closing sentence naming the three install routes and the stated Kiro version.
  3. Triaged out of data/crawled/mcp-candidates.json, the sap-ai-mcp-servers sweep. Written from the repository's own README; the catalogue is credited as where it was found and its words are not reused. Hard rule 7: skills are indexed, never authored here.
