Reference apps
A whole application to read rather than a snippet to copy — somewhere to see how the pieces sit together once there are more than three of them.
Overview
No core answer is documented.
Not covered: SAP publishes its reference applications as samples, and a sample demonstrates a capability rather than providing it, so what SAP publishes is evidence here and not a provider artifact. What a reference application is for, being read end to end, is also what makes it age fastest.
Assessed from who provides it, and both providers are independent. SAP's own applications, the capire samples and the SAP-samples repositories among them, are held as samples that demonstrate this capability, which leaves the state where it is.

It calls the OpenAI API directly with a key in the environment. It was written in early 2023 and last touched in May 2023, which is before SAP AI Core and the CAP LLM plugins existed — so read it for the shape of the application, not for how a CAP service should reach a model today.
