B-Tocs ABAP SDK

An ABAP package that carries the outbound web service call for an SAP ABAP server, with the utility and security classes it needs under it and one plugin per integration on top.

The core of the B-Tocs plugin set: an ABAP package whose web service client and connector carry the call out of the system, with utility classes around it for a logger, a user context, JSON support, conversions, a config manager and a text util, and a security part covering secrets, authentication methods and JWT tokens. Each integration is a plugin installed on top of it: abap_btocs_deepl for DeepL, abap_btocs_libtrl for LibreTranslate and abap_btocs_ollama for Ollama, so what the core itself ships is the call and the plumbing under it. It goes into the system with abapGit under package ZBTOCS_CORE, or under $ZBTOCS_CORE or $BTOCS_CORE when the system will not be upgraded and transport requests are to be avoided, and the program ZBTOCS_GUI_DEMO_RWS_CALL demonstrates a remote web service call. The maintainer states SAP ABAP from 7.50 up to current S/4HANA on premise and publishes it as free to use at your own risk.

Signals

ActivityQuietNo published releases; repository quiet for 28 months

It publishes no releases, and its repository has been quiet for at least 24 full months. This may be normal for stable software; check whether its current state still fits your use.

Conditions

PracticalFunctional boundary

The maintainer records SSL as a known issue: an SAP Basis problem in older systems that depends on the remote certificate, so a system that cannot carry the remote certificate chain will not complete the call. It is published as free to use at your own risk, with no support statement behind it.
