SAP TCode Runner

A VS Code extension that opens an SAP transaction inside VS Code's Simple Browser through the system's WebGUI endpoint, with a sidebar for the code, its favourites and the transactions run last.

Takes a transaction code typed into a VS Code sidebar or the Command Palette and opens that transaction in VS Code's Simple Browser, served by the SAP system's own WebGUI endpoint. A local proxy sits between the two and handles session cookies, SSO and SAML redirects and the content-security headers that stop the SAP interface loading inside an editor pane; one setting sends the transaction to the system browser instead. What you type is the code itself: the sidebar keeps starred favourites and the transactions run last, both surviving a VS Code restart, and searching codes by description sits on the roadmap. The WebGUI base URL is the one piece of configuration, named as something the SAP Basis team provides, with an optional username for a direct login that bypasses SSO.

PracticalFunctional boundary

Nothing opens until an SAP WebGUI endpoint is configured, and the page names the Basis team as the source of that URL. Use also needs the extension owner's approval, requested by an issue on the extension's GitHub repository, after which the owner sends the configuration instructions.
