abap-tvarvc
A helper class for reading TVARVC parameters and select-options from ABAP, with one method for a single parameter and two for select-options, raising zcx_core_tvarvc when a read fails.
A configuration value lives as a pair entry maintained in STVARV, and reading it back means picking the right access and building the select-options structure each time. zcl_core_tvarvc, behind the interface zif_core_tvarvc, wraps that in three methods: read_parameter for a single value typed rsparam, read_select_options for one parameter whose values are split by a separator, and read_select_options_tab for a table of select-options rows, the last two typed rsparam_tt. Each has its own test program named in the documentation, and a read that fails raises zcx_core_tvarvc, which carries raise_message.

Examples and documentation
Main class is ZCL_CORE_TVARVC.
Find methods of TVARVC Helper below aside of its documentation.
read_parameter
Read a single parameter. Value is returned into a flat structure type of rsparam_tt.
- input:
- iv_name TYPE (string)
- result: TYPE rsparam
Example: Z_TEST_TVARVC_PARAMETER.
See source code here.
read_select_options
Read a single parameter with values splitted by a separator. Values are returned into a internal table type of rsparam_tt.
- input:
- iv_name TYPE (string)
- iv_separator TYPE (string)
- result: TYPE rsparam_tt
Example: Z_TEST_TVARVC_SELECT_OPTIONS.
See source code here.
read_select_options_tab
Read a select options values. Values are returned into a internal table type of rsparam_tt.
- input:
- iv_name TYPE (string)
- result: TYPE rsparam_tt
Example: Z_TEST_TVARVC_SELECT_OPTIONS_T.
See source code here.
