Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
Transactional processing of asynchronous and periodic CAP events
If you need sub-second fan-out to external consumers this is the wrong layer — reach for [Event Mesh](artifact:btp-event-mesh) or Kafka. Without [Redis](external:redis), periodic processing still works but instant dispatch degrades to polling.
SDK for SAP Advanced Financial Closing scheduling providers on CDS
CAP integration with SAP Integration Suite advanced event mesh
Exports AsyncAPI documents for a CAP service's events
CAP Node.js attachments with database, S3, Azure or GCP storage
Monorepo of CAP's SQL database services
Base service shared by CAP's SQLite, PostgreSQL and HANA services
Consumes events from SAP Cloud Application Event Hub in CAP
SAP HANA database service for CAP
Business notifications from CAP to SAP Build WorkZone
PostgreSQL database service for CAP
CAP attachments stored in an SAP Document Management repository
If document versions are required, [@cap-js/sdm](artifact:cap-js-sdm) excludes versioned repositories in its [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-js/sdm/ad13b61f21816ebead2d08264a74521cfb75846c/README.md).
SQLite database service for CAP, in memory during development
MCP server with forty-five tools across a Datasphere tenant
It writes and it administers — ETL extraction and database user management are not read operations, and the same connection that profiles a column can move data out of the tenant. Masking is only as good as the configuration naming the fields, so an unlisted sensitive column is an unmasked one.
Copy of @cap-js/notifications published under another scope
Reach for the original unless you know why you are not. This is a republished copy rather than a fork with a direction of its own: the README points at cap-js/notifications for the details, and nothing here says what was changed or why.
CAP plugin casting read values back to CDS model types
CAP plugin stripping whitespace from strings on write via @cds.trim
CAP plugin uppercasing strings on write via @cds.uppercase
Destination lookup and connectivity proxy for the Cloud SDK
HTTP client carrying a destination's credentials
Shared machinery under the Cloud SDK's OData and OpenAPI clients
Generated OpenAPI clients for the Cloud SDK
Timeouts, retries and circuit breaking around remote calls
General utilities shared across the Cloud SDK packages
CAP Node.js runtime
Compiler from CDS models to CSN, EDMX and database schemas
Command line client and development toolkit for CAP
Multitenancy, tenant provisioning and extensibility for CAP
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
ABAP class for descriptive statistics over an internal table
Framework for multi-step ABAP processes with monitoring
Only on SAP S/4HANA 2023 and 2025, on premise or private cloud: [SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition](external:sap-s4hana-cloud-public-edition) and the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) are listed as coming soon, and a 2023 system has to leave out `ZABAP_PRC_EVENTS_SE_2025`, whose event-based side effects rely on APIs released with S/4HANA 2025. Not for a system that already carries a copy, because object names are global and two versions cannot live side by side, and not for a productive system by way of the `ZABAP_PRC_DEMO*` packages, which the README states are not intended for one and whose init classes delete and rebuild their own tables on every run. While the major version is 0 the public API is not stable: minor bumps carry breaking changes with no deprecation period, so productive use means pinning a tag and reading the CHANGELOG before every upgrade.
Office add-in running an abap2UI5 app in Excel's task pane
Upload, edit and download ABAP table content as JSON, CSV or XLSX
Not an end-user app: it reads from any table the user names and writes into tables of the Z/Y namespace, with no authorisation check of its own, so the README asks a project to add its own checks on `S_TABU_DIS`/`S_TABU_NAM` and to restrict who may run it before it is used beyond a development system. XLSX upload and download are not ready for ABAP Cloud yet, and of the upload apps only the JSON one writes the file's rows back to the database.
Maps clipboard, Excel or text data onto a declared ABAP structure
MCP server for BW/4HANA modelling objects
Its README says it plainly and so does this entry: this is not a simulation, every tool call reaches a live BW system, and write operations produce real changes. BW modelling objects are the definition of a warehouse — the blast radius of a wrong one is every report built on it.
CAP-to-CAP data federation over SAP HANA synonyms
When your adoption policy excludes experimental dependencies: the [maintainer’s README](https://github.com/cap-js/cds-federation-synonyms#about-this-project) explicitly labels this plugin experimental.
CAP Java plugin for SAP Integration Suite, advanced event mesh
CAP Java attachments with database storage and an Object Store module
For deployed environments, the [README](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/cds-feature-attachments/302f61c8bb76a0f54f43482ad91d89bf7dc5540f/README.md) excludes the cds-feature-attachments-fs file-system target, which is intended only for local development and testing.
Connects CAP Java messaging to SAP Cloud Application Event Hub
Business notifications from CAP Java via SAP Alert Notification
CAP Java plugin for attachments in SAP Document Management
If document versions are required, the [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/sdm/673769f24ef66fd97daa6a6be41262d45065d3fe/README.md) exclude versioned repositories.
DuckDB extension reading SAP ERP tables, CDS views and BW queries
DataZoo GmbH calls the extension experimental and states that minimal testing and benchmarking were done. The Business Source License 1.1 it carries restricts offering the software to third parties on a hosted or embedded basis, so an embedding product needs a commercial licence. Telemetry is on by default and is switched off per session with `SET erpl_telemetry_enabled = false` or for the machine with `DATAZOO_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1`.
Java Swing tool maintaining Partner Directory entries for the Pipeline
Holds SAP locks across stateless abap2UI5 roundtrips
Where the release and programming model offer durable locks, as RAP draft handling does, the README states that those solve the problem at the kernel level and the lock manager is for where that is not an option. A running handler occupies one background work process for as long as any lock is held, and only generated `ENQUEUE_*` modules can be locked.
Concurrent and cross-session locking for open-abap on PostgreSQL
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Standalone PDF generator written in ABAP
SDK-free TypeScript client for SAP synchronous RFC on Node.js
The maintainer states 0.x is beta with no production SLA, and scopes support deliberately narrowly: direct application-server transport, classic serialization and password authentication on S/4HANA 2023 and NetWeaver 7.50. Anything outside that is untested rather than unsupported.
Table maintenance over HTTP for a table fixed in code
Not for a table whose contents matter, and not for one chosen at run time: the name of the table is fixed in the calling code, and the maintainer's own warning is "only hardcode the table name, don't use with important tables, use at own risk!"
Forwards abap2UI5 roundtrips to another system over RFC
For an app that calls `client->set_session_stateful( )`, which needs the ICF session of the system it runs on; apps keeping their state in the draft table, the abap2UI5 default, work unchanged. For an app that reads a request header through the user exit on the source system, because the consumer forwards method, body, path, query string and status, not headers.
Developer-centric command line for SAP HANA
Promise-based wrappers around the SAP HANA client libraries
Browser-based table maintenance UI built on abap2UI5
The app writes to whatever table is passed in the URL parameter `table` and carries no authorisation check of its own, so past a development system it needs authorisation checks added and a restriction on who may run it.
ABAP template engine for Excel, Word, HTML and PDF
Standalone ABAP class drawing PDFs without Adobe Document Server
Simple CDS bookshop model used across CAP explanations
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Calling ABAP function modules over RFC from a CAP service
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
