The generated files are copied or deployed into the ABAP system by hand, the fourth step of its own usage list, so nothing keeps an activated service in step with the model it was generated from. Its peer dependency is `@sap/cds` ^9.8, so it does not install into a project on an earlier CAP release.

Not for a table whose contents matter, and not for one chosen at run time: the name of the table is fixed in the calling code, and the maintainer's own warning is "only hardcode the table name, don't use with important tables, use at own risk!"

BUSL-1.1 rather than node-rfc's Apache-2.0, so a product you distribute has to be read against the licence and its Additional Use Grant first, and the source is closed: the GitHub repository is the issue tracker and the documentation, nothing else. `RfcServerOptions.bgRfcHandlers` raises instead of accepting handlers, so a server receiving inbound bgRFC units is outside what this does. An ABAP `MESSAGE`-raised failure still arrives with its T100 template rather than the rendered sentence, and the dump name is not reported as `key` for that case.

Every skill that touches ABAP needs [arc-1](artifact:arc-mcp-arc-1) itself connected to a real system; nothing else is universal. `modernize-ui5-app` and `convert-ui5-to-fiori-elements` specifically need [the UI5 MCP server](artifact:ui5-mcp-server) for TypeScript conversion guidance and the linter, `convert-ui5-to-fiori-elements` also needs [the Fiori MCP server](artifact:sap-ux-fiori-mcp-server) for its LROP scaffold, and `modernize-ui5-app` needs a browser MCP (Claude in Chrome or Claude's own Preview) for its final render-verification step, since an HTTP 200 alone does not catch a blank page. A skill file alone, without the servers a given skill needs, has nothing to act on.

Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.

Host-specific: outside Kiro the automatic context activation is the part that does not come with it, and what remains is prose you would have to wire in yourself. Breadth over depth by design — thirty-five skills across six product areas is an orientation layer, not a substitute for the focused sets in each.

GPL-3.0, which is a licence to read before vendoring any of it into something you ship. Forty plugins is also a lot of always-available surface — the ledger is there because breadth and verification pull in opposite directions, and it does not resolve that so much as report it.

Only SAP, your contract, or SAP support can answer bindingly, and the skill routes legal, commercial and roadmap questions there rather than guessing at them. What adt-ls cannot do headless the maintainer puts out of scope, so a consumer that needs an ADT call the language server does not expose is back to speaking ADT itself. The README states the current runtime compatibility as verified on macOS arm64, against adt-ls 1.1.2 as the minimum and `1.1.2.202608131517` as the version tested. An Eclipse installation does not supply that runtime: SAP versions the two separately, so the VS Code extension has to be installed even where nobody opens VS Code.

Windows only, with PowerShell 7 (`pwsh`) installed; the run needs access to `download.eclipse.org`, `tools.hana.ondemand.com`, `eclipse.devepos.com` and the update site of every plugin selected, from the machine it installs on. A plugin outside the catalog is installed only after someone adds its update site and feature group id to `catalog.json`.

Functional boundary Not against a system holding local repository changes that have not been pushed: Pull Repos overwrites every repository named in zdevsysinit_params, which is why the maintainer leaves that box unticked and calls it a danger zone. The maintainer calls the whole report work in progress, to be used at own risk.

Event roundtrips and visual fidelity stay with a live run: the documentation leaves those to the project's MCP server and to [abap2UI5 for VS Code](artifact:abap2ui5-vscode-extension). A class that builds view parts in helper methods without the handle idiom cannot be statically reconstructed, and the render gate is then skipped with a notice while the property gate runs on what was reconstructed. A screenshot is not a preview of the app: nothing round-trips, no event reaches ABAP, and a table filled by a SELECT photographs empty unless a mock JSON file sits beside the source.

The page and the [abap2UI5](artifact:abap2ui5-abap2ui5) service have to share an origin: an `endpoint` that resolves to another origin is refused, and abap2UI5 rejects a POST whose `Origin` names another host. A host that routes by the URL hash, such as a Fiori elements app or an app with a UI5 router, needs abap2UI5 1.146.0 or later, because 1.145.0 clears the host's hash after every roundtrip. One frontend per page: the first control that starts decides which endpoint the frontend comes from.
