Source Code Finder
A report that searches ABAP source code in methods, enhancement implementations, DTPs and transformations for a word or a pattern with an asterisk, installed with abapGit.
Searches ABAP source code in methods, enhancement implementations, DTPs and transformations for a pattern the user enters: a word such as customer, or a word with an asterisk, cu*, which matches every combination starting with those letters. The maintainer recommends cloning the repository with abapGitabapGitA Git client written in ABAP that runs inside the system, so objects are cloned, pulled and pushed without leaving it; with no package manager in ABAP, a cloned repository is how code is distributed.community org, abap; the alternative is copying one standalone program out of the repository's last_build folder, which is overwritten whenever new development is done. Where the pattern is entered, and what the result list shows, the README does not say.

Purpose
The Source Code Finder (SCF) searches through ABAP source code in Methods, Enhancement Implementations, DTPs, and Transformations. You can enter a pattern you want to search.
The pattern can either be a word e.g. customer, or you can add the asterisk (*) to search for all cu* combinations.
Under last_build you find a standalone version of the tool which can be imported by copy and paste. This file is always overwritten when new development will be done.
How to install
You have 2 ways:
- Recomended: Clone this repository using ABAP Git,
- Copy full program from last_build folder
How to contribute ?
If you want to contribute, fork the repository, make your changes and creae a pull request.
