An ABAP library that serialises OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP) traces, metrics and logs for sending to a collector, documenting the HTTP request to Elastic 8.8 and later.
OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP) serialization in ABAP, covering the trace, metrics and logs protobuf specifications. It documents sending OTLP over HTTP 1.1 to Elastic 8.8 and later, with the request URL, method, an API-key authorization header and a protobuf content type spelt out. It stops at serialising and sending the OTLP payload; the collector side, such as Elastic's APM server, is outside it.

Elastic 8.8 and up supports sending OTLP over HTTP 1.1 following OTLP/HTTP.
