SAP S/4HANA

SAP's ERP suite, run on-premise or as a private cloud edition, with its business data and processes reached over OData, RFC and the ABAP platform. For the things here it is the system a tool reads from or writes to. The public cloud edition is its own entry.

abap-adt-cliindependently maintained

Required dependency. Having an SAP system with ADT enabled to pull from and push to, which the README names as NetWeaver or S/4

Functional boundary

A Python 3.10+ CLI, installed with pipx rather than through any SAP-provided package manager. Its own README lists what it does not do yet: where-used, syntax check and unit test runs — for those it says to reach for [ADT/Eclipse](external:eclipse) or an MCP server. First release, v0.1.0, and no standalone LICENSE file in the repository — the MIT grant is in the README and in pyproject.toml's project metadata rather than its own file.

Required dependency. the ABAP system the server-side objects are pulled into: the README names a Private Cloud Edition or on-premise system, with gCTS enabled in it

ABAP-PRCindependently maintained

Required dependency. the on-premise or private-cloud S/4HANA system the framework installs into

Functional boundary

Only on SAP S/4HANA 2023 and 2025, on premise or private cloud: [SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition](external:sap-s4hana-cloud-public-edition) and the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) are listed as coming soon, and a 2023 system has to leave out `ZABAP_PRC_EVENTS_SE_2025`, whose event-based side effects rely on APIs released with S/4HANA 2025. Not for a system that already carries a copy, because object names are global and two versions cannot live side by side, and not for a productive system by way of the `ZABAP_PRC_DEMO*` packages, which the README states are not intended for one and whose init classes delete and rebuild their own tables on every run. While the major version is 0 the public API is not stable: minor bumps carry breaking changes with no deprecation period, so productive use means pinning a tag and reading the CHANGELOG before every upgrade.

Optionally used: the two SAP S/4HANA scenarios; the third reaches Azure Blob Storage instead the backend system the private connectivity reaches in the first two scenarios

Optionally used: a real landscape, cloud or on-premise; the mission also sets up a mock server for readers without a system the system the OData service with the business partner data comes from

claude-abap-skillsindependently maintained

Optionally used: target system is S/4HANA on-prem in the ABAP Cloud development model The other supported target system the skills' rules act against.

Functional boundary

Knowledge with no reach: without an MCP server connected it can tell an agent what to write and cannot let it read or run anything. The rules target the ABAP Cloud development model, so a classic on-premise codebase is not what they are written against.

claude-sap-kitindependently maintained

Optionally used: the SAP system is S/4HANA (on-premise or private cloud edition), as an alternative to ECC 6.0 EHP8 the on-premise or private cloud SAP system the kit's ABAP objects are installed on and the reports and forms run against

Functional boundary

Not for S/4HANA Public Cloud or [the BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment), where the README states there is no `SUBMIT`, NAST or SOAP-RFC; the floor elsewhere is SAP_BASIS 7.50, the `/sap/bc/soap/rfc` service active, and an SAP user with `S_RFC` on the kit's function group as well as the authorizations for the reports and the spool. Print output is NAST messages only, so S/4 Output Management through BRF+ or APOC is outside it, and editing covers SmartForms alone, with Adobe Forms and SAPscript previewable but not editable. A report that opens a popup, calls a screen or is a dialog transaction cannot be run at all.

fgalastri/MCP_ABAPindependently maintainedStarting point

Required dependency. The ABAP backend classes and OData services deploy into and are validated against an SAP S/4HANA system.

LicenceNeither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence
Without a licence the default is all rights reserved. Ask the maintainer, or check for terms stated elsewhere, before depending on it.observed
LISAindependently maintained

Optionally used: the SAP system is S/4HANA on-premise or private cloud, 2022 or later The ABAP handler needs the XCO i18n APIs available on S/4HANA 2022+ to run.

Functional boundary

LISA does the translation step only: it does not discover objects or manage transports, and its README pairs it with [an ADT MCP server](artifact:sap-adt-mcp-server) for those. Every write needs a transport request, and which object types it can write differs between public cloud or [the SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) and on-premise or private cloud, and by release. Running it locally is meant for development and testing, not production.

Optionally used: The ABAP modernization use case targets SAP S/4HANA The system the converted ABAP is written for, on-premise or RISE with SAP; the compatibility table names 1809 and above.

Functional boundary

There is nothing to clone here: "Access is provided through a registration page. Once registered, you will receive access to the GitHub repository containing the agents, deployment guides, and documentation", and that repository answers 404 to anyone who has not registered, so neither the agent code nor the deployment guides can be read before the form is filled in. AWS states the agents are published as an unsupported solution, with customers responsible for testing and securing the code before deploying in production, and that they are intended for non-production SAP environments rather than production systems. The documentation link in the README is still a placeholder.

ODAPUindependently maintained

Required dependency. the system the app tests OData services and ABAP Push Channels against

Required dependency. the system the extension runs in, with Advanced Variant Configuration; the README names SAP S/4HANA 2302.

Required dependency. the system whose database tenant the policies are written for; the README states it as the one requirement.

sap-basis-opsindependently maintained

Required dependency. being the on-premise/IaaS landscape the skills' runbook commands are written to operate against

Functional boundary

The commands it writes stop production systems, delete data and import transports, which is why execution is deliberately somebody else's decision. BTP and cloud operations are explicitly out of scope and planned as a separate plugin.

SuperClaude for SAPindependently maintained

Required dependency. the SAP system the plugin's MCP server connects to and operates on

Functional boundary

It is a plugin for one server — its own — so it is a stack rather than a component. And the guard is only as good as the profile labels: a production system registered as `DEV` is a production system with the safety off.

@arc-mcp/adt-lsindependently maintained

data, outbound. running the full ABAP authoring lifecycle through createAdtLs() against a real S/4HANA system

Functional boundary

What adt-ls cannot do headless the maintainer puts out of scope, so a consumer that needs an ADT call the language server does not expose is back to speaking ADT itself. The README states the current runtime compatibility as verified on macOS arm64, against adt-ls 1.1.2 as the minimum and `1.1.2.202608131517` as the version tested. An Eclipse installation does not supply that runtime: SAP versions the two separately, so the VS Code extension has to be installed even where nobody opens VS Code.

@rizing/cds-extensionby a partner@sap/cds add-on

data, OData V2, outbound. Consuming OData V2 service metadata and data from S/4HANA so a shadow persistence entity can mirror it for draft-enabled Fiori elements editing.

ABAPilotindependently maintained

data, outbound. reading ABAP source and dictionary context from the connected SAP system to support AI-assisted ABAP development

Functional boundary

The MIT licence covers the connector only: connecting to SAP needs a licensed ABAPilot backend installed in your system, so this is a commercial decision wearing an open-source badge on one half. Its own published checks did not cover writes, activation, transports or authorisation boundaries.

CommercialIts maker offers it commercially

capire/s4by SAP

data. The service binding endpoint it registers reaches SAP S/4HANA's S4BusinessPartnerService

Clean-Core.ioindependently maintained

data. running generated tests against a connected SAP S/4HANA tenant

Functional boundary

The Level A–D grade merges SAP's two published files in the tool's own engine: it is an orientation rather than an ATC result and is left out of the signed audit pack, and the repository documents state by state where the grade is expected to differ from what the clean core ATC check reports. Nothing here runs ABAP Unit — on the RAP track that result is recorded from your own SAP system, and generated CAP tests run against mocks in an isolated runner rather than in a real SAP S/4HANA system. Tenants, organisation accounts, single sign-on, a self-hosted edition and write access through an API are deliberately not built, and one account has five analysis runs before a Gemini API key of its own is needed.

RepositoryNot reachable since
Since 2026-10-20 the repository this entry names answers that it does not exist.observed

data, inbound. The S/4 system reaches this repository's hosted files via git to feed the ATC Cloud Readiness/Clean Core check with the released-API JSON.

Functional boundary

It is a catalogue of SAP's objects and not a reading of your code: it states that an object is not released, never that you used it, and the finding is the ATC check's. For SAP Cloud ERP Private the files exist for feature pack stack releases only, with no update per support package, so a system between two stacks is checked against its stack's file.

fr0ster/mcp-abap-adtindependently maintained

data. ADT access to the ABAP repository on an on-premise or private-cloud S/4HANA system

Functional boundary

Two licences, by which package you install: the standalone server, `@mcp-abap-adt/core`, is AGPL-3.0-only, a licence to read before shipping anything built around it; the library, `@mcp-abap-adt/lib`, is Apache-2.0. The destination model also expects service keys sitting in a local directory, which is a secrets decision to make deliberately.

midasol/sap-mcp-serverindependently maintained

data, outbound. retrieving the SFLIGHT demo's flight, booking and master data exposed via the OData service created on the backend system

open-rfcindependently maintained

data, RFC, outbound. making classic synchronous RFC calls against a target ABAP system

Functional boundary

The maintainer states 0.x is beta with no production SLA, and scopes support deliberately narrowly: direct application-server transport, classic serialization and password authentication on S/4HANA 2023 and NetWeaver 7.50. Anything outside that is untested rather than unsupported.

sap-knowledge-pipelineindependently maintained

data, outbound. reading business data from an SAP S/4HANA system over its underlying HANA SQL layer when it is the configured HANA source

Functional boundary

An early alpha release whose README says to pin the version and test recipes against non-production data first. HANA synchronisation is snapshot-only and does not reconcile deleted rows, so a document for a row deleted in the source stays in the index. A recipe's field allow-list does not decide what the service account may read: the README states that field allow-listing does not replace SAP authorization, and that the package infers no SAP module semantics, authorization scope or safe fields from table names. Only Business Partner has a built-in recipe, every other dataset needs a `KnowledgeRecipe` written for it, and [Qdrant](external:qdrant) local mode is stated to be for development and smaller indexes.

sap-mcp-serverindependently maintained

data, OData V2, RFC, outbound. reads and, with approval, writes SAP business data on S/4HANA

Functional boundary

On ECC the S/4HANA `API_*` services that the three convenience readers default to do not exist, so each one has to be pointed at a Z service of your own or replaced by the RFC tools. `read_table` inherits `RFC_READ_TABLE`'s 512-byte row, so a wide table needs an explicit field list and some fields cannot be selected at all, and the bridge starts a Node process and a fresh logon per call, with no pooling. The audit log is one line per call that includes the call arguments, so every filter and WHERE clause sent to SAP is written to a file that then has to be handled as sensitive.

data, outbound. the Purchase Order API the agent's tools read overdue PO items from and write an escalation note back to.
