abap-skills
Seventeen agent skills for ABAP development in one repository: RAP, CDS view entities, ABAP SQL and AMDP, unit testing, authorisation, eventing, abapGit, ABAP Cloud and the clean core levels.
Each skill is one SKILL.md with its own trigger list, so a question about a BAdI reaches badi-enhancement and one about clean core levels reaches abap-cloud. That ABAP Cloud skill carries SAP's level concept A to D in full, including that an extension is classified by its lowest-level usage and that the authorisation object S_ABPLNGVS decides whether a developer may create Standard ABAP objects at all, and it is the one place the repository writes down which development model it is answering against. Three of the seventeen answer concerns the atlas holds separately: abap checks code with abaplint against the Clean ABAPClean ABAPSAP's open, versioned style guide for ABAP: the answer to how a piece of ABAP should be written, an agreement a team adopts rather than anything to install.sap official, abap style guide, btp-abap-environment covers the SAP BTP ABAP environmentSAP BTP ABAP environmentSAP's ABAP runtime on BTP: ABAP systems developed in the ABAP Cloud model on SAP HANA Cloud, for cloud apps, OData services and side-by-side extensions of SAP S/4HANA.sap official, btp, and btp-diagram-generator writes BTP solution diagrams as native draw.iodraw.ioA diagram editor, on the web and as a desktop app. The BTP diagram skills here write .drawio files, and a person opens and edits them in it. files. The rest is reference material the skills carry with them, from released ABAP classes for cloud development through ATC cloudification and clean core check configuration to a Fiori AppList for launchpad URLs, and the author's framing is that they are small, composable and meant to be edited. The registry's record for this repository also lists a skill at skills/clean-abap; the repository's skills/ directory holds seventeen entries and not that one.

Installation
Two ways in, two philosophies. skills.sh copies editable skill files into your project, so you can hack on them and make them your own. Manual installation gives you full control over placement and scope.
1. Get the skills
Skills CLI (Recommended)
Install with the Skills CLI. The CLI discovers the available skills and lets you choose which skills and supported AI agents to configure:
npx skills add likweitan/abap-skills
Install a single skill directly:
npx skills add likweitan/abap-skills --skill abap
Add --global to make the selected skills available across projects:
npx skills add likweitan/abap-skills --global
The CLI supports GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, and other compatible agents. Run npx skills add likweitan/abap-skills --list to preview all available skills without installing them.
Claude Code
Clone the repository and copy the skills to your Claude Code skills directory:
git clone https://github.com/likweitan/abap-skills.git
cp -r abap-skills/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/
Or install a single skill:
# Example: Install only the abap skill
cp -r abap-skills/skills/abap ~/.claude/skills/
After installation, restart Claude Code to load the new skills.
OpenCode
Tell OpenCode:
Fetch and follow instructions from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/likweitan/abap-skills/refs/heads/main/.opencode/INSTALL.md
Detailed docs: docs/README.opencode.md
GitHub Copilot in VS Code
Install GitHub Copilot in VS Code, clone this repository locally, and create a reusable prompt file that points Copilot Chat to the ABAP skill references.
