aicore-skills

Four agent skills for SAP AI Core, published as a plugin inside SAP's AI Skills Library: admin resources, the deployment lifecycle, the foundation models in the Generative AI Hub, and the Context Registry behind tabular prediction.

Four skills split SAP AI Core by the job an agent is asked to do: aicore-admin-resources verifies credentials, fetches a Bearer token and manages resource groups; aicore-lifecycle-management covers scenarios, executables, configurations and deployments; genai-hub-foundation-models lists the foundation models the Generative AI Hub carries, with the executable ID and model name the lifecycle skill needs before it can deploy one; and genai-hub-tabular-orchestration manages the Context Registry as three layers, a data destination over an HDL connection, a tabular artifact pairing a CSV, Parquet or Delta file with a schema, and a scenario configuration bundling artifacts under a name, then builds and sends tabular prediction requests to sap-rpt-1-small or sap-rpt-1-large. Each of the first three names the other two in a DO NOT USE FOR clause, so an agent is told which of them answers a question; the fourth sends what it declines to genai-hub-orchestration, which is not among the four skill directories plugin.json lists. Every operation runs a Python script through uv against the sap-ai-sdk-core package, so these skills change a tenant rather than describe one: credentials are read from the environment and never printed, and anything that deletes or mutates state requires an explicit --confirm. Installing it is npx skills add SAP/ai-skills-library/plugins/aicore-skills, into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI or any agent that reads the agentskills.io specification; nothing in it runs without an AI Core instance whose credentials are already configured, and the tabular skill wants the BTP command line beside that for registering HDL access.

Change a BTP service from an agent sessionA developer working with an agent wants the change made in their own BTP account or service, a Command deployed, an agent pushed, a deployment created, rather than a command to copy out and run themselves.Covers, under conditionsruns the AI Core lifecycle operations as its own scripts
What it does

Its lifecycle skill manages AI Core scenarios, executables, configurations and deployments by running the skill's own Python scripts, and states that a script which deletes or mutates state requires an explicit --confirm.

Conditions

An SAP AI Core instance with credentials configured, which the README states; Python with uv and the sap-ai-sdk-core package, which the README lists; the tabular skill states Python 3.11 or later and the BTP command line for registering HDL access; A mutating or deleting script is passed --confirm, which the skill states explicitly

Remaining work

Configure the instance credentials and the Python toolchain, and decide what may be mutated: the --confirm flag is the skill's own gate and the agent passes it.

  3. Read out of the SAP AI Skills Library repository, which the atlas holds as source:sap-ai-skills-library rather than as an artifact. The plugin was added there on 2026-09-21 and the registry front end at skills.cloud.sap had not listed it when the registry was crawled on 2026-09-25, so it is entered from its own plugin.json, README and three SKILL.md files. Hard rule 7: skills are indexed, never authored here.
