SAP HANA CloudSAP HANA CloudThe managed database under most of this: CAP's default target, the store Datasphere and Analytics Cloud sit on, and a service with plans and components.sap official, btp ships SAP HANA Cloud Central to provision, monitor and manage instances, with a command line beside it, and the SAP HANA Database Explorer for SQL, schemas and diagnostic queries. Backups are taken automatically, data once a day and log continuously, and a recovery is started from SAP HANA Cloud Central.
Not covered: SAP manages the infrastructure, the database software and the backups; configuration, users and their privileges, and performance stay with the project. Backups are kept for 1 to 215 days, and the details of each backup are shown in SAP HANA cockpit, not in SAP HANA Cloud Central.
