Compares a CAP project's CSV data with its database rows
TypeScript SDK over SAP's headless adt-ls language server
What adt-ls cannot do headless the maintainer puts out of scope, so a consumer that needs an ADT call the language server does not expose is back to speaking ADT itself. The README states the current runtime compatibility as verified on macOS arm64, against adt-ls 1.1.2 as the minimum and `1.1.2.202608131517` as the version tested. An Eclipse installation does not supply that runtime: SAP versions the two separately, so the VS Code extension has to be installed even where nobody opens VS Code.
Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
CAP Node.js attachments with database, S3, Azure or GCP storage
Monorepo of CAP's SQL database services
Test support for CAP Node.js: server start, HTTP client, assertions
Generates TypeScript types from a CDS model

Connects a running CAP application to the CAP console
Inspects database entities and contents at CAP service level
Base service shared by CAP's SQLite, PostgreSQL and HANA services
SAP HANA database service for CAP
PostgreSQL database service for CAP
CAP attachments stored in an SAP Document Management repository
If document versions are required, [@cap-js/sdm](artifact:cap-js-sdm) excludes versioned repositories in its [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-js/sdm/ad13b61f21816ebead2d08264a74521cfb75846c/README.md).
SQLite database service for CAP, in memory during development
CAP plugin casting read values back to CDS model types
CAP plugin stripping whitespace from strings on write via @cds.trim
Framework core: module loader, MVC runtime, binding, routing, theming
Writer module for changing a CAP project's configuration from code
There is nothing to run: it is published for a generator or a script to call, not for a developer to invoke in a project, and it declares Node.js 22 or later.
Command line for changing features of an existing Fiori project
ESLint rules for projects the Fiori tools generators produce
Writer of flexible programming model elements into Fiori elements apps
Fiori Elements mock server plugin taking a CDS file as metadata
Shared functions and types of the Fiori generators
Writer that adds an OData service to an existing UI5 project
Writer of the base structure of a UI5 project from Node code
CAP Node.js attachments plugin with Object Store and malware scanning
Plugin-based JSX runtime for UI5 views written as .tsx
Lowercase HTML tags such as `<div>` typecheck but throw: the default renderer constructs UI5 controls, and the HTML-aware renderer plugin is described as planned. `withScope` restores the previous scope on a synchronous return only, so an `await` inside its callback leaks the scope on runtimes without `AsyncLocalStorage`. A view that has to stay adaptable through UI5 flexibility has no path here yet: the project's [Devtoberfest session](content:devtoberfest-2026-ui5-views-type-safe-tsx) states that flexibility support is not built in yet.
Scaffolded UI5 TypeScript app consuming the JSX runtime
It shows the wiring and a converted view pair, not the runtime's API surface; the directives, the plugin SPI and the binding forms are demonstrated in [@ui5-community/jsx-runtime-showcase](artifact:ui5-community-jsx-runtime-showcase) instead.
Showcase and documentation app of @ui5-community/jsx-runtime
Its views are not a template for application code: every showcase view overrides `getController()` to return itself so a sample stays readable in one file, and the gotchas page says not to ship that in production, where a view keeps a separate `*.controller.ts`. Routing from a sample, an `ODataModel` v2 or v4, `sap.ui.mdc.Table`, forms and custom control authoring in TSX are absent by decision and documented as deferred.
UI5 Tooling command line for project setup, dev server and build
Static analysis tool for UI5 projects
Internal logger of the UI5 CLI
MCP server for UI5 development with ten tools
It reads a UI5 project and the framework's own documentation, not a running system or a backend: a question about the service behind the app is answered somewhere else. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above.
UI5 CLI middleware for Istanbul code coverage
Deprecated UI5 Tooling extensions for UI5 Web Components wrappers
The declared repository is archived.
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.

The maintainer marks this under active development; public APIs, annotation names and OData contracts may still change.
Tunnels CAP Node.js to a private PostgreSQL via Cloud Connector
CAP database adapter for Snowflake with OData V4 support
The maintainer marks this early development; expect the contract to move.
Gherkin scenarios driving a running CAP service
CAP-to-CAP data federation over SAP HANA synonyms
When your adoption policy excludes experimental dependencies: the [maintainer’s README](https://github.com/cap-js/cds-federation-synonyms#about-this-project) explicitly labels this plugin experimental.
Typed class-based service layer over CAP ApplicationService
Last released July 2022, and no repository is declared on the package.
SAP CDS language support for IntelliJ IDEA
Reusable internals for authors of CAP extensions
Explicitly internal utilities, so the surface is not a stable public API and last moved in March 2024. The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.
MongoDB as a CAP database service through Mongoose
It declares no peer range on [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) and publishes no repository, so there is nothing to read but the package itself and no CI to look at.
One handler file per entity in CAP services
TextMate grammar for the CDS language
Not an editor integration. If you want completion, navigation and diagnostics, that is the CDS language server, not this.
GitHub Action setting up the Cloud Foundry CLI
Eclipse plugin linking ABAP transports to SAP Cloud ALM features
An Eclipse installation older than the 2026-03 release, or a Java below 21, cannot take it: both are listed prerequisites, and 2026-03 is named as the oldest release the current ADT installs on. The tenant, region, client ID and client secret are entered per installation in Eclipse preferences, so each developer configures the Cloud ALM connection in their own IDE.
ATC and Code Inspector checks for Clean ABAP
This is the legacy edition, for on-premise systems from SAP_BASIS 7.40. On ABAP Cloud, [the Cloud Edition](artifact:sap-code-pal-for-abap-cloud) is the one that runs.
CAP Java attachments with database storage and an Object Store module
For deployed environments, the [README](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/cds-feature-attachments/302f61c8bb76a0f54f43482ad91d89bf7dc5540f/README.md) excludes the cds-feature-attachments-fs file-system target, which is intended only for local development and testing.
Connects a running CAP Java app to CAP console for monitoring
CAP Java plugin for attachments in SAP Document Management
If document versions are required, the [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/sdm/673769f24ef66fd97daa6a6be41262d45065d3fe/README.md) exclude versioned repositories.

Yeoman generator for UI5 projects holding several applications
Not for a single-application project with no deployment configuration: for that the README points to [generator-ui5-app](artifact:ui5-community-generator-ui5-app) instead.
Yeoman generator for a UI5 app that loads a React app
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 38 months.
Functional boundary The scaffold is JavaScript and not TypeScript, and `react-router-dom` and UI5 Web Components are not included; its README leaves both for the project to add.
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a TypeScript UI5 application
Generator for a TypeScript UI5 FlexibleColumnLayout app on OData
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a TypeScript UI5 library
Yeoman generator scaffolding wdi5 test configuration into a UI5 app

Pure JavaScript SAP HANA driver for Node.js
Its own feature comparison marks connection pooling, automatic reconnect, active-active reads, client-side data encryption, statement distribution, Kerberos authentication, the hdbuserstore, promises and TypeScript types as [@sap/hana-client](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@sap/hana-client) only, so a service that wants a pool or a promise API writes both itself over a callback interface. OpenSSL is its one security provider where the other driver lists SAP CommonCryptoLib, OpenSSL and MSCrypto, and it runs on Node.js 18 or later.

Experimental UI5 middleware for hot module replacement
UI5 middleware syncing interactions across browsers over websocket
UI5 middleware serving a chosen welcome page at the root path
Live reload middleware for the UI5 dev server
UI5 middleware recording OData traffic as mock server datasets
It records what the app actually asked for, so an entity no recorded journey touched is not in the dataset and replay will not answer for it. Its own README asks for `fiori-tools-appreload` to be disabled while recording, because a reload loop is what happens otherwise.

UI5 control library for file upload and download in front of CAP
SAPUI5 extension for Visual Studio Code
Its README assumes a `manifest.json` with an app ID, JavaScript files that start with `sap.ui.define`, and access to ui5.sap.com to preload the standard library metadata. It says of TypeScript that ts-morph, its parser there, has drawbacks, and that not all linters work for TypeScript.
Command-line linter for UI5 classes, XML views and i18n files
Two of its JavaScript and TypeScript checks, EventTypeLinter and WrongNamespaceLinter, apply to TypeScript projects only.
npm library parsing SAPUI5 and project UI5 class metadata
A project nested inside another is not parsed: its README says nested projects are not supported any more. A library installed from npm is read only when it ships its `-dbg.js` files and `manifest.json`.
No published releases; repository quiet for 59 months.
VS Code extension for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 XML views and manifest
End-to-end testing for UI5 on WebdriverIO with UI5 control selectors
Where the login cannot be completed by configuration. Its authentication page states that multi-factor authentication is not supported, because a media break between browser and phone cannot be managed out of the box.
