Business-level metrics from CDS annotations via @cap-js/telemetry
Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
Transactional processing of asynchronous and periodic CAP events
If you need sub-second fan-out to external consumers this is the wrong layer — reach for [Event Mesh](artifact:btp-event-mesh) or Kafka. Without [Redis](external:redis), periodic processing still works but instant dispatch degrades to polling.
Live-updatable feature toggles for CAP, backed by Redis
CLI for operating tenants of multitenant CAP applications
Exposes a CAP service as OData V2
WebSocket and Socket.IO adapter for CDS services
Exports AsyncAPI documents for a CAP service's events
CAP integration with the SAP Audit Log service
Generates Helm charts for the CAP Operator on Kubernetes
GraphQL protocol adapter generated from the CDS model
Exposes CAP services as MCP servers for AI agents
SAP prohibits gateway/proxy use for SAP Application APIs; the Atlas applies that prohibition to CAP wrappers around those APIs. Data changes require application-defined unbound actions, and the adapter supplies no rate limiting, agent-action audit logging, approval workflows or policy enforcement. In beta, with nine releases in the six weeks after the first, so pin it.
Triggers n8n workflows from a CAP application
Generates OpenAPI documents from a CDS service
Generates Open Resource Discovery documents from a CAP model
Starts and manages SAP Build Process Automation processes from CAP
OpenTelemetry instrumentation for CAP services
Generates an MCP server from annotated CDS entities and actions
MCP server inside a CAP application with model and query tools
CAP plugin letting the REST adapter accept XML payloads
CAP plugin serving the Cardano blockchain as OData V4
MCP server exposing the ODATANO Cardano-to-OData bridge as tools
The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.
CAP plugin indexing the Midnight blockchain, exposed as OData V4
MCP server exposing the NIGHTGATE Midnight attestation layer
Tool completing a CAP project's deployment configuration
Tied to a specific training repository and last released August 2023. The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.
Compiler from a CDS service to SEGW model and data provider classes
The generated files are copied or deployed into the ABAP system by hand, the fourth step of its own usage list, so nothing keeps an activated service in step with the model it was generated from. Its peer dependency is `@sap/cds` ^9.8, so it does not install into a project on an earlier CAP release.
CAP plugin controlling CDS logger and OpenTelemetry log verbosity
VS Code Multi-Target Application tools
Library for sending usage telemetry data
CAP Node.js runtime
CDS plugin adding embedded analytics to CAP for SAP Analytics Cloud
Not in a project on CAP 7 or earlier: the package declares `@sap/cds` >=8 and `@sap/cds-compiler` >=5 as peer dependencies.
Command line client and development toolkit for CAP
Multitenancy, tenant provisioning and extensibility for CAP
WebAssembly sandbox for tenant-specific extension code in CAP
MCP server answering plain-English questions against a CDS schema
Policy enforcement and field masking for MCP-enabled CAP apps
MCP server generated from a CDS model, forked from @gavdi/cap-mcp
Not published to npm. Install from source.
Integration of CAP with n8n workflows and triggers
UI5 frontend performance and error capture for CAP
CAP caching plugin for query results and remote service responses
When user-dependent responses are cached without user-aware or explicit operation keys, or translated responses share keys across locales. These cases require key isolation; locale-aware keys are off by default.
Captures CAP service errors, deduplicates them and mails alerts
Alerting by mail is not telemetry — if you need traces and metrics correlated across handlers, that is a different layer. It also publishes no repository, so the package is the only thing to read.
Feature-toggle pattern for CAP CDS
Last released June 2022 at 0.0.6, and no repository is declared on the package.
Swagger UI for a CAP service's OpenAPI definition
MCP adapter turning a CAP Java service into an MCP server
SAP prohibits gateway/proxy use for SAP Application APIs; the Atlas separately excludes CAP wrappers around those APIs from its assessed scope. Data changes require application-defined unbound actions, and the adapter supplies no rate limiting, agent-action audit logging, approval workflows or policy enforcement.

Maven bill of materials pinning CAP Java module versions
CAP plugin joining external entities with internal tables at query
The declared repository is on SAP's internal GitHub (github.tools.sap) and is not publicly reachable, so npm is the only place to read anything about it.

No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary The data is illustrative: availability is binary and backup capacity unlimited, and the model carries no inventory; nothing in it is forecast or priced. The recall half runs only against classic ABAP, because its openCypher trace goes through ADBC, which is not released for ABAP Cloud, and it expects an SSH tunnel to the A4H system it was built against. A plain `npm start` passes no model key, so the agent cannot be used on a server started that way.

Guide migrating the hana-shine-xsa demo from XS Advanced to CAP
Directed at single-tenant applications, which the guide states as its scope. The migration path it uses also has no option to select individual containers, so it migrates every container in the given space.

Guide to migrating XS Classic database artefacts to CAP
Directed at single-tenant applications, which the guide states as its scope. Migration of the whole delivery unit or package fails if any source file has errors; the README gives JavaScript files containing unknown characters as its example.

UI5 build task warning when the app's UI5 version reaches EOCP
The version list comes from ui5.sap.com, so a build that cannot reach it has nothing to match the project's version against. It checks the version written in `ui5.yaml`; a framework version a deployed app loads from elsewhere is outside what it sees.
