aibap.mcp

A Go server that closes the loop: after create, write and activate it can run the class it just wrote through ADT's classrun and hand the console output back.

run_class is what separates this one. Most servers here stop at activation, which means an agent can assert its code works and cannot show it — a syntax check never sees a runtime defect. This invokes ADT's *Run as ABAP Application* on any global active class implementing IF_OO_ADT_CLASSRUN and returns what it printed, with nothing installed on the SAP side. Wrapping a SUBMIT, a function module call or an ad-hoc expression in a throwaway classrun class makes it the general way to execute ABAP that has no tool of its own. The SAP-touching code lives in a separate Go client library, adtler; this is the thin MCP layer over it.

Lives in
Provides
Agent access to your codeABAPAgent access to your codecapabilityLetting a coding agent read the project or the system you actually have, reach its model, its objects and its checks, and act on it. In file-based environments that works out of the box; complex systems need dedicated access capabilities. Whatever the environment, the agent also needs project- and framework-specific context, so it understands the thing in front of it rather than guessing from what it remembers of its training data. The transport is incidental: an MCP server, a language server or a CLI answer the same question, and what differs between them is how much of the real thing the agent can see. Distinct from [MCP servers](capability:mcp-servers), which is a protocol adapter on your own running service, and from [agent guidance](capability:agent-guidance), which is knowledge handed over as files rather than read from the thing itself.

Conditions

PolicySAP API Policy 4.2026a§ 1.1, 2.2.2An agent uses the server against an SAP system.
  • § 1.1 Published APIs. Published APIs are made available for the documented purposes identified by SAP, including integration, extensions and data exchange.
  • § 2.2.2 AI call sequences and data extraction. Outside SAP-endorsed architectures, data services or expressly identified pathways, the policy prohibits specified agentic API use and systematic or large-scale extraction.

The README restricts the server to ADT as development tooling and names what it is not for: reading application tables, exporting business data, SQL against the backend, business data integration, runtime orchestration and agentic workflows over business data.
