ZCTS_BROWSER

An ABAP report, ZREP_CTS002_TRANSCOPY, that creates a transport of copies for a request without generating a new version first, and can transport it to a target system over RFC.

Building a transport of copies for a customizing or workbench request usually needs a version to be generated first. It skips that step, and the same report either creates the copy or creates and transports it, as a selection-screen option. The list of open transports is read through a search help inside the report, so a request can be found without going to another transaction, and the RFC connection to each target system is entered through the button TargetSys (ZTCTS002_DESTSYS) on the toolbar beside the launch button. The package is imported into the source and the target system, and an RFC connection between them has to exist; version 1 needed PyRFC and Web Dynpro, and this one needs neither.

ZCTS_BROWSER: NetWeaver Object Transporting

ZCTS_BROWSER for Object Transporting with TOC (transport of copies) Latest version: ZCTS002

Characteristics:

  1. transport of copies without version generation
  2. transport of copies for both customizing and workbench requests
  3. get list of transports via search help
  4. working via simple report ZREP_CTS002_TRANSCOPY
  5. support via email: F1base@olegbash.ru is added. You are welcomed with anything that could be transported via email
===========================================================
===========================================================

Prerequisites:

  1. Just import package into the source system and target system
  2. RFC-connection between source and target systems should be created
  3. RFC-connection information should be added into the report **ZREP_CTS002_TRANSCOPY** with help of button _TargetSys (ZTCTS002_DESTSYS)_ which is on the toolbar near launch button
  4. You should have authorization to launch report and access to target system
  5. No web dynpro
  6. Launch ZREP_CTS002_TRANSCOPY, do TOC, and enjoy yourself with saving time :-)
What was optimized/improved compared to version1 ( is here: https://github.com/OlegBash599/ZCTS_BROWSER_v1 ):
  1. No more PyRFC is needed
  2. No more webDynpro is needed
  3. Some old functions (TMS*) was replaced by new functions (TMS_MGR* )
  4. Customizing options are added
  5. Old unused code is removed
  6. Option to **create TOC only** or **create and transport TOC** are on the selection screen for now
  7. List of opened transports could be read via search help. No need to go anywhere else for reading.
idea from Sandra Rossi is implementing inspired by this post ( ABAP code to transport many packages in one transport request ).

==========================RUSSIAN DESCRIPTION=================================

F1base@olegbash.ru
===========================================================
===========================================================

1 (ZBC009) ( is here: https://github.com/OlegBash599/ZCTS_BROWSER_v1 ):
