UI5 custom control that runs an abap2UI5 app inside a host app
The page and the [abap2UI5](artifact:abap2ui5-abap2ui5) service have to share an origin: an `endpoint` that resolves to another origin is refused, and abap2UI5 rejects a POST whose `Origin` names another host. A host that routes by the URL hash, such as a Fiori elements app or an app with a UI5 router, needs abap2UI5 1.146.0 or later, because 1.145.0 clears the host's hash after every roundtrip. One frontend per page: the first control that starts decides which endpoint the frontend comes from.
CLI translating UI5 i18n.properties files with OpenAI
UI5 custom control formatting dates with Day.js
No published releases; repository quiet for 52 months.
Framework core: module loader, MVC runtime, binding, routing, theming
Colour, font and metric definitions of the SAP themes
Writer module for changing a CAP project's configuration from code
There is nothing to run: it is published for a generator or a script to call, not for a developer to invoke in a project, and it declares Node.js 22 or later.
Command line for changing features of an existing Fiori project
Writer of flexible programming model elements into Fiori elements apps
MCP server for creating and editing Fiori applications
Reader and writer for i18n bundles of UI5 or CAP projects
Writer that adds an OData service to an existing UI5 project
OASIS and SAP OData vocabularies with a VocabularyService
Writer of the base structure of a UI5 project from Node code
Pro-code CLI for building and deploying Joule Studio solutions
Rule-based checker for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 projects
Not in a project whose dependencies must all carry an open-source licence: KAEV is proprietary software, its licence page states that downloading or viewing the npm package does not by itself grant permission to use, copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host or create derivative works, and the LICENSE file shipped with the package carries the controlling terms. Not as the last word on whether a UI5 application is secure: its rule reference states that a heuristic finding is not proof of a vulnerability, and its documentation puts professional security review beside it rather than under it.
Plugin-based JSX runtime for UI5 views written as .tsx
Lowercase HTML tags such as `<div>` typecheck but throw: the default renderer constructs UI5 controls, and the HTML-aware renderer plugin is described as planned. `withScope` restores the previous scope on a synchronous return only, so an `await` inside its callback leaks the scope on runtimes without `AsyncLocalStorage`. A view that has to stay adaptable through UI5 flexibility has no path here yet: the project's [Devtoberfest session](content:devtoberfest-2026-ui5-views-type-safe-tsx) states that flexibility support is not built in yet.
Scaffolded UI5 TypeScript app consuming the JSX runtime
It shows the wiring and a converted view pair, not the runtime's API surface; the directives, the plugin SPI and the binding forms are demonstrated in [@ui5-community/jsx-runtime-showcase](artifact:ui5-community-jsx-runtime-showcase) instead.
Showcase and documentation app of @ui5-community/jsx-runtime
Its views are not a template for application code: every showcase view overrides `getController()` to return itself so a sample stays readable in one file, and the gotchas page says not to ship that in production, where a view keeps a separate `*.controller.ts`. Routing from a sample, an `ODataModel` v2 or v4, `sap.ui.mdc.Table`, forms and custom control authoring in TSX are absent by decision and documented as deferred.
UI5 Tooling command line for project setup, dev server and build
Static analysis tool for UI5 projects
Internal logger of the UI5 CLI
MCP server for UI5 development with ten tools
It reads a UI5 project and the framework's own documentation, not a running system or a backend: a question about the service behind the app is answered somewhere else. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above.
UI5 CLI middleware for Istanbul code coverage
Deprecated UI5 Tooling extensions for UI5 Web Components wrappers
The declared repository is archived.
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
MCP server answering questions on UI5 Web Components
It answers from documentation and never opens your project, so it cannot tell you whether the component you are asking about is the one your application already uses. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above; on Windows the command needs a `cmd /c` prefix.
abap2UI5 frontend rendering with UI5 Web Components
Not for views built from controls outside the portable profile: sap.ui.table, sap.f, sap.uxap, sap.ui.comp and z2ui5.cc custom controls render as a visible unsupported-control box and are listed in the diagnostics, and `CONTROL_BY_ID` and `BINDING_CALL` stay unsupported. Nine frontend actions the profile allows, `DOWNLOAD_B64_FILE` and `SYSTEM_LOGOUT` among them, are skipped and reported rather than run, and formatters other than the profile's `Formatter.Date*` render a placeholder.
Drag-and-drop UI5 view editor that writes an abap2UI5 app class
The class has to be moved by hand: an abapGit pull of the exported ZIP, or a paste into ADT or SE24. The palette is held to the 121 controls of UI5 1.71, and a control inserted by its class name instead comes from whatever UI5 the canvas has loaded, with nothing checking it against 1.71 - *Checks* reports that. An app class that builds no view, or more than one, is refused.
Versioned specification of the abap2UI5 roundtrip protocol
Neither suite has been run against an ABAP system: the reference backends are the framework transpiled to Node and cap2UI5 on CAP, so what a check does on a real system is open. The portable profile is a subset of 61 controls, filled from a census of 247 core apps of which 64.8 % run unchanged, so an app outside it renders placeholders in the terminal and Adaptive Cards renderers.
UI5 Demo Kit samples rebuilt as abap2UI5 apps
The 221 ports under `src/02` need a UI5 runtime newer than 1.71: they install and activate on any release, and on an older UI5 the newer control does not render. The `src/03` collection is hand-written for SAPUI5-only controls and needs a SAPUI5 bootstrap. There are no per-library branches, so pulling the whole repository is the one way in and the activation takes a few minutes.
Showcase for dev-approuter in front of two UI5 apps
Groups npm audit findings by root dependency, with failing thresholds
It audits through npm: a project that resolves its dependencies with another package manager, or has no `package.json`, has nothing for it to run. What it reports is what `npm audit` knows, so a vulnerability outside the npm advisory data is not in its table.
Babel transformer from modern ES or TypeScript to UI5 module syntax
LangGraph agent and UI5 chat screen over four BTP MCP servers
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Playback-only SAP Companion (Help4) workarea served from CAP
Not behind a managed approuter: SAP Build Work Zone does not expose the `/$companion/**` routes, so Companion never reaches CAP, and the README names managed approuter and Work Zone as out of scope for v1. Not where help has to be authored in a browser, since the editor, the producer and writes are absent and content lives in files the plugin compiles.
npm-init wrapper for the Easy-UI5 Yeoman generator
npm initializer adding wdi5 testing to an existing UI5 app
Thirteen custom UI5 controls for abap2UI5 apps
Needs Standard ABAP 7.50 or higher, and an abap2UI5 whose frontend reserves the resourceRoot `z2ui5_cci`: a frontend predating that rename reserves `z2ui5ccc` and cannot resolve the controls. Frontend artefacts only one company needs, such as an in-house reuse library, a corporate icon font or company CSS, are what [abap2UI5-addons/custom-controls-customer](https://github.com/abap2UI5-addons/custom-controls-customer) is for, the same mechanism under the second reserved root `z2ui5_ccc`. ExportSpreadsheet needs SAPUI5: under OpenUI5 `sap.ui.export` is missing and the button renders disabled.

No published releases; repository quiet for 66 months.
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a Fiori Launchpad plugin
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a new UI5 library
Yeoman generator for Application Frontend config in UI5 libraries
It targets the Application Frontend service only — not the HTML5 application repository — fixes authentication to IAS, and always creates new service instances, so reusing existing ones means editing the generated `mta.yaml` afterwards. Version 0.1.0 is the only release.
Yeoman generator for UI5 libraries wrapping UI5 Web Components
No published releases; repository quiet for 35 months.
Yeoman generator for UI5 projects holding several applications
Not for a single-application project with no deployment configuration: for that the README points to [generator-ui5-app](artifact:ui5-community-generator-ui5-app) instead.
Yeoman generator for a UI5 app that loads a React app
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 38 months.
Functional boundary The scaffold is JavaScript and not TypeScript, and `react-router-dom` and UI5 Web Components are not included; its README leaves both for the project to add.
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a TypeScript UI5 application
Generator for a TypeScript UI5 FlexibleColumnLayout app on OData
Easy-UI5 generator for a TypeScript Fiori launchpad plugin
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a TypeScript UI5 library
Yeoman generator scaffolding wdi5 test configuration into a UI5 app
No published releases; repository quiet for 27 months.
Shows which feature branches reached which environment branch
A team that does not keep one long-lived branch per environment has no environment branches for it to compare feature branches against. What it reports is the merge state of branches in Git, so it says nothing about whether a merged change has been built or deployed to the environment.
Jest environment running UI5 unit tests in Node.js
Joule's generative AI inside SAP Build Code
Karma preprocessor transpiling UI5 sources via ui5-tooling-transpile
Puts a number from an abap2UI5 app on a Fiori launchpad tile
There is nothing here for ABAP for Cloud: the requirements name Standard ABAP releases only, and a CDS/SADL based OData service for `ABAP for Cloud` compatibility stands under Limitations & Todo.
MCP server searching seventeen SAP documentation repositories
It reads documentation, never a system: nothing in it opens a package.json, a CDS model or an ABAP client, so a question about what your own project does has to be answered elsewhere. The offline half is only as fresh as the submodules the last build pinned, and the index answers where something is written down rather than which of two packages fits a task.
Local ABAP server serving /IWBEP/ OData v2 without an SAP system
Not a system to run a business application on: there is no business application in it, and what it implements of the language, the dictionary and Gateway is a stated subset of each. It is a clean-room reimplementation of the `/IWBEP/` interfaces that bundles no SAP source and no standard DDIC, so a service that reads standard objects has nothing to read, and `ANORMALIES.md` records every place the runtime differs from SAP before any workaround is written.

OpenUI5 JSONModel extension with CRUD over HTTP
OpenUI5 OData V2 model extension with Promises

OpenUI5 control library for guided app tours
OpenUI5 library validating view fields against JSON schema
Template and mock runtime for S/4HANA Variant Configuration UIs
Managed hosting and routing for built frontends
SAP's own guidance is narrower than the service's reach: it names standalone, single-tenant applications that do not connect to other applications as the fit, and says to stay on [the HTML5 Application Repository](artifact:btp-html5-application-repository) and the application router where those meet your needs better. Four hard limits decide it before taste does — 300 requests per second per subaccount, ten retained versions per application, 100 MB per application and 400 MB for the deployment archive.

SAP skills for the Kiro IDE
Host-specific: outside Kiro the automatic context activation is the part that does not come with it, and what remains is prose you would have to wire in yourself. Breadth over depth by design — thirty-five skills across six product areas is an orientation layer, not a substitute for the focused sets in each.
One inbox for tasks across SAP applications and BTP workflows
IDE service on SAP BTP for SAPUI5, Fiori and full-stack apps
Agent skill built from the Fiori Design Guidelines
Rust CLI and desktop app for exploring SAP OData services
Its README calls it early-stage — the core workflows run end-to-end against real systems and packaging, documentation and polish are stated as still evolving. A Rust binary rather than an npm install, so the platform build matters.
Samples for the six extension types of SAP Digital Manufacturing
Nothing here runs on its own: a plugin sample needs a Digital Manufacturing tenant to be uploaded into, and the integration samples need a Cloud Integration tenant plus an ERP system, or a mock server as the outbound example uses, before they do anything.
Agent plugin on the SAP Design System and theming parameters
Knowledge about theming, not a theme build: nothing here compiles a theme or deploys one, and it says nothing about a custom control's own parameters.
Agent skill generating a Joule Frontend Actions bridge for UI5 apps
Forty SAP development plugins for coding agents
GPL-3.0, which is a licence to read before vendoring any of it into something you ship. Forty plugins is also a lot of always-available surface — the ledger is there because breadth and verification pull in opposite directions, and it does not resolve that so much as report it.
Release and repository quiet for 36 months.
Release and repository quiet for 37 months.
CAP and SAPUI5 demo of recovery from a supply disruption
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary The data is illustrative: availability is binary and backup capacity unlimited, and the model carries no inventory; nothing in it is forecast or priced. The recall half runs only against classic ABAP, because its openCypher trace goes through ADBC, which is not released for ABAP Cloud, and it expects an SSH tunnel to the A4H system it was built against. A plain `npm start` passes no model key, so the agent cannot be used on a server started that way.
Key-user adaptation and personalisation for UI5 apps on SAP BTP
VS Code extension to serve, proxy, build and deploy UI5 projects
Two agent skills for accessibility and styling of web components
Two skills, narrowly scoped: nothing here scaffolds an application or answers what a component's API is — that is [@ui5/webcomponents-mcp-server](artifact:ui5-webcomponents-mcp-server), which reads the same library's documentation.
SAPUI5 library generating OData V2 metadata-based dialogs and pages
Release and repository quiet for 26 months.
CDS plugin and UI5 controls for AI text features via SAP AI Core
It is text processing, not an agent: there is no tool calling, no retrieval and no conversation. It needs SAP AI Core, and the backend half needs [@sap-ai-sdk/orchestration](artifact:sap-ai-sdk-orchestration) installed alongside it — an optional peer, so a frontend-only install stays lean.
Demo CAP bookshop with server-rendered UI5 views
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary As a deployment template it stops at the service: the `mta.yaml` has one module, `gen/srv` on the Node.js buildpack, and no HTML5 repository or router module for the app.
Todo app with CAP and SAPUI5 in TypeScript over OData V4
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
UI5 custom control wrapping Chart.js for line charts
UI5 custom control rendering Markdown to HTML
Release and repository quiet for 38 months.
UI5 custom control rendering a PDF from a base64 data URI
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 41 months.
Functional boundary The case it is written for is a document that has not been uploaded; anything already served from a URL is what the framework's own PDF control takes. Passing a document as a data URI means holding it in the page as a string first, which is a different cost from streaming it from a server.
UI5 component adding a spreadsheet upload dialog to Fiori apps
UI5 control library with a button that delays enabling or showing
Command line generator of UI5 custom controls from html
Release and repository quiet for 29 months.
UI5 Tooling module deploying Fiori/UI5 apps to SAP systems
UI5 library adding Font Awesome icon sets to sap-icon://
CLI converting UI5 i18n properties files to Excel and back
Release and repository quiet for 39 months.
Chrome extension generating OPA5 or wdi5 tests from recorded journeys
Hosted app listing changes between SAPUI5 or OpenUI5 versions
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary It reports what the change log says, not what your application uses, so it cannot tell you which of the listed changes touches your code. The repository carries no licence file, which leaves the code itself with no grant attached even though the hosted app is open to use.
UI5 control library wrapping C3.js charts as ui5.viz controls
On the second installation path there is no dependency to upgrade: the README states that for option b) all manual steps must be repeated every time the library version is updated.
UI5 CLI middleware proxying the dev server through @sap/approuter
UI5 CLI middleware running a CDS server inside the UI5 dev server
UI5 Tooling middleware proxying destinations and neo-app.json routes
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 75 months.
Functional boundary It supports Basic Authentication only, so a backend that needs another method is not reachable through it.
Experimental UI5 middleware for hot module replacement
UI5 middleware syncing interactions across browsers over websocket
UI5 middleware serving a chosen welcome page at the root path
Live reload middleware for the UI5 dev server
UI5 middleware recording OData traffic as mock server datasets
It records what the app actually asked for, so an entity no recorded journey touched is not in the dataset and replay will not answer for it. Its own README asks for `fiori-tools-appreload` to be disabled while recording, because a reload loop is what happens otherwise.

UI5 build task warning when the app's UI5 version reaches EOCP
The version list comes from ui5.sap.com, so a build that cannot reach it has nothing to match the project's version against. It checks the version written in `ui5.yaml`; a framework version a deployed app loads from elsewhere is outside what it sees.
