SAP Analytics Cloud
SAP's SaaS front end for analytics: business intelligence, planning and predictive in one product, and the place a Datasphere analytic model is meant to end up being read.
The consumption end of everything else on this door. SAP describes it as an all-in-one cloud product offered as software as a service for business intelligence, planning and predictive analytics — three things that are usually three products, which is why import jobs, models, stories, calendars and multi-actions all live in one tool. It is also the stated destination for an analytic model built in Datasphere, so the two are read together rather than compared.

A tenant with its own model layer, its own transport and its own user administration — content moves between tenants through export and import jobs rather than through your pipeline, and planning brings a calendar and a workflow that a reporting-only use never touches.

- Accelerate agentic planning with trusted data productsAccelerate agentic planning with trusted data productsGoverned data products as the ground for AI planning in SAP Analytics Cloud: using a ready data product or building one in SAP Business Data Cloud, the cataloguing and lineage concern, then agentic AI automating planning tasks and producing insights on top. The abstract names the two products and the data product step and does not say which planning tasks the agents take over. A TechEd 2026 hands-on session (Thursday 29 October, Berlin), presented by Jie Deng, Maximilian Paul Gander and Richard Mooney, written here from SAP's abstract; the recording is not yet published.SAP TechEd — session catalogue

History in the atlas
- SAP moved the What's New entries for SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud to the Business Data Cloud feed; the old BTP feed had stopped carrying them.
- Entered so the data and analytics capabilities have SAP's answer as an artifact rather than as a paragraph with a citation — the asymmetry every one of those three coverage notes admitted to. Written from SAP Help, read today, which is what the checked date means.
- Added by me the day it was entered. Embedding a story in a UI5 app is not something the corpus holds anything about, and SAC grouped under nothing on the UI5 door.
- Added by me the day it was entered, and it did not hold: the data and analytics capabilities are on the BTP door only, so on CAP this was counted behind the door and grouped under nothing. A CAP service reaches it through a destination, which is the BTP door's concern.
