UI5 custom control that runs an abap2UI5 app inside a host app
The page and the [abap2UI5](artifact:abap2ui5-abap2ui5) service have to share an origin: an `endpoint` that resolves to another origin is refused, and abap2UI5 rejects a POST whose `Origin` names another host. A host that routes by the URL hash, such as a Fiori elements app or an app with a UI5 router, needs abap2UI5 1.146.0 or later, because 1.145.0 clears the host's hash after every roundtrip. One frontend per page: the first control that starts decides which endpoint the frontend comes from.
CLI translating UI5 i18n.properties files with OpenAI
UI5 custom control formatting dates with Day.js
No published releases; repository quiet for 52 months.
Framework core: module loader, MVC runtime, binding, routing, theming
Writer module for changing a CAP project's configuration from code
There is nothing to run: it is published for a generator or a script to call, not for a developer to invoke in a project, and it declares Node.js 22 or later.
Command line for changing features of an existing Fiori project
Writer of flexible programming model elements into Fiori elements apps
Reader and writer for i18n bundles of UI5 or CAP projects
Writer that adds an OData service to an existing UI5 project
OASIS and SAP OData vocabularies with a VocabularyService
Writer of the base structure of a UI5 project from Node code
Rule-based checker for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 projects
Not in a project whose dependencies must all carry an open-source licence: KAEV is proprietary software, its licence page states that downloading or viewing the npm package does not by itself grant permission to use, copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host or create derivative works, and the LICENSE file shipped with the package carries the controlling terms. Not as the last word on whether a UI5 application is secure: its rule reference states that a heuristic finding is not proof of a vulnerability, and its documentation puts professional security review beside it rather than under it.
Plugin-based JSX runtime for UI5 views written as .tsx
Lowercase HTML tags such as `<div>` typecheck but throw: the default renderer constructs UI5 controls, and the HTML-aware renderer plugin is described as planned. `withScope` restores the previous scope on a synchronous return only, so an `await` inside its callback leaks the scope on runtimes without `AsyncLocalStorage`. A view that has to stay adaptable through UI5 flexibility has no path here yet: the project's [Devtoberfest session](content:devtoberfest-2026-ui5-views-type-safe-tsx) states that flexibility support is not built in yet.
UI5 Tooling command line for project setup, dev server and build
Static analysis tool for UI5 projects
Internal logger of the UI5 CLI
MCP server for UI5 development with ten tools
It reads a UI5 project and the framework's own documentation, not a running system or a backend: a question about the service behind the app is answered somewhere else. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above.
UI5 CLI middleware for Istanbul code coverage
Deprecated UI5 Tooling extensions for UI5 Web Components wrappers
The declared repository is archived.
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
MCP server answering questions on UI5 Web Components
It answers from documentation and never opens your project, so it cannot tell you whether the component you are asking about is the one your application already uses. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above; on Windows the command needs a `cmd /c` prefix.
abap2UI5 frontend rendering with UI5 Web Components
Not for views built from controls outside the portable profile: sap.ui.table, sap.f, sap.uxap, sap.ui.comp and z2ui5.cc custom controls render as a visible unsupported-control box and are listed in the diagnostics, and `CONTROL_BY_ID` and `BINDING_CALL` stay unsupported. Nine frontend actions the profile allows, `DOWNLOAD_B64_FILE` and `SYSTEM_LOGOUT` among them, are skipped and reported rather than run, and formatters other than the profile's `Formatter.Date*` render a placeholder.
Drag-and-drop UI5 view editor that writes an abap2UI5 app class
The class has to be moved by hand: an abapGit pull of the exported ZIP, or a paste into ADT or SE24. The palette is held to the 121 controls of UI5 1.71, and a control inserted by its class name instead comes from whatever UI5 the canvas has loaded, with nothing checking it against 1.71 - *Checks* reports that. An app class that builds no view, or more than one, is refused.
Babel transformer from modern ES or TypeScript to UI5 module syntax
npm-init wrapper for the Easy-UI5 Yeoman generator
npm initializer adding wdi5 testing to an existing UI5 app
Thirteen custom UI5 controls for abap2UI5 apps
Needs Standard ABAP 7.50 or higher, and an abap2UI5 whose frontend reserves the resourceRoot `z2ui5_cci`: a frontend predating that rename reserves `z2ui5ccc` and cannot resolve the controls. Frontend artefacts only one company needs, such as an in-house reuse library, a corporate icon font or company CSS, are what [abap2UI5-addons/custom-controls-customer](https://github.com/abap2UI5-addons/custom-controls-customer) is for, the same mechanism under the second reserved root `z2ui5_ccc`. ExportSpreadsheet needs SAPUI5: under OpenUI5 `sap.ui.export` is missing and the button renders disabled.

Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a Fiori Launchpad plugin
Easy-UI5 generator scaffolding a new UI5 library
Yeoman generator for Application Frontend config in UI5 libraries
It targets the Application Frontend service only — not the HTML5 application repository — fixes authentication to IAS, and always creates new service instances, so reusing existing ones means editing the generated `mta.yaml` afterwards. Version 0.1.0 is the only release.
Yeoman generator for UI5 libraries wrapping UI5 Web Components
No published releases; repository quiet for 35 months.
Yeoman generator for UI5 projects holding several applications
Not for a single-application project with no deployment configuration: for that the README points to [generator-ui5-app](artifact:ui5-community-generator-ui5-app) instead.
Yeoman generator for a UI5 app that loads a React app
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 38 months.
Functional boundary The scaffold is JavaScript and not TypeScript, and `react-router-dom` and UI5 Web Components are not included; its README leaves both for the project to add.

Karma preprocessor transpiling UI5 sources via ui5-tooling-transpile
Puts a number from an abap2UI5 app on a Fiori launchpad tile
There is nothing here for ABAP for Cloud: the requirements name Standard ABAP releases only, and a CDS/SADL based OData service for `ABAP for Cloud` compatibility stands under Limitations & Todo.
MCP server searching seventeen SAP documentation repositories
It reads documentation, never a system: nothing in it opens a package.json, a CDS model or an ABAP client, so a question about what your own project does has to be answered elsewhere. The offline half is only as fresh as the submodules the last build pinned, and the index answers where something is written down rather than which of two packages fits a task.

SAP skills for the Kiro IDE
Host-specific: outside Kiro the automatic context activation is the part that does not come with it, and what remains is prose you would have to wire in yourself. Breadth over depth by design — thirty-five skills across six product areas is an orientation layer, not a substitute for the focused sets in each.
Agent skill built from the Fiori Design Guidelines
Rust CLI and desktop app for exploring SAP OData services
Its README calls it early-stage — the core workflows run end-to-end against real systems and packaging, documentation and polish are stated as still evolving. A Rust binary rather than an npm install, so the platform build matters.
Agent plugin on the SAP Design System and theming parameters
Knowledge about theming, not a theme build: nothing here compiles a theme or deploys one, and it says nothing about a custom control's own parameters.
Agent skill generating a Joule Frontend Actions bridge for UI5 apps
Forty SAP development plugins for coding agents
GPL-3.0, which is a licence to read before vendoring any of it into something you ship. Forty plugins is also a lot of always-available surface — the ledger is there because breadth and verification pull in opposite directions, and it does not resolve that so much as report it.
Release and repository quiet for 37 months.
VS Code extension to serve, proxy, build and deploy UI5 projects
Two agent skills for accessibility and styling of web components
Two skills, narrowly scoped: nothing here scaffolds an application or answers what a component's API is — that is [@ui5/webcomponents-mcp-server](artifact:ui5-webcomponents-mcp-server), which reads the same library's documentation.
SAPUI5 library generating OData V2 metadata-based dialogs and pages
Release and repository quiet for 26 months.
CDS plugin and UI5 controls for AI text features via SAP AI Core
It is text processing, not an agent: there is no tool calling, no retrieval and no conversation. It needs SAP AI Core, and the backend half needs [@sap-ai-sdk/orchestration](artifact:sap-ai-sdk-orchestration) installed alongside it — an optional peer, so a frontend-only install stays lean.
UI5 custom control wrapping Chart.js for line charts
UI5 custom control rendering Markdown to HTML
Release and repository quiet for 38 months.
UI5 custom control rendering a PDF from a base64 data URI
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 41 months.
Functional boundary The case it is written for is a document that has not been uploaded; anything already served from a URL is what the framework's own PDF control takes. Passing a document as a data URI means holding it in the page as a string first, which is a different cost from streaming it from a server.
UI5 component adding a spreadsheet upload dialog to Fiori apps
UI5 control library with a button that delays enabling or showing
Command line generator of UI5 custom controls from html
Release and repository quiet for 29 months.
UI5 Tooling module deploying Fiori/UI5 apps to SAP systems
UI5 library adding Font Awesome icon sets to sap-icon://
CLI converting UI5 i18n properties files to Excel and back
Release and repository quiet for 39 months.
Chrome extension generating OPA5 or wdi5 tests from recorded journeys
Hosted app listing changes between SAPUI5 or OpenUI5 versions
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary It reports what the change log says, not what your application uses, so it cannot tell you which of the listed changes touches your code. The repository carries no licence file, which leaves the code itself with no grant attached even though the hosted app is open to use.
UI5 control library wrapping C3.js charts as ui5.viz controls
On the second installation path there is no dependency to upgrade: the README states that for option b) all manual steps must be repeated every time the library version is updated.
UI5 CLI middleware proxying the dev server through @sap/approuter
UI5 CLI middleware running a CDS server inside the UI5 dev server
UI5 Tooling middleware proxying destinations and neo-app.json routes
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 75 months.
Functional boundary It supports Basic Authentication only, so a backend that needs another method is not reachable through it.
Experimental UI5 middleware for hot module replacement
UI5 middleware syncing interactions across browsers over websocket
UI5 middleware serving a chosen welcome page at the root path
Live reload middleware for the UI5 dev server
UI5 middleware recording OData traffic as mock server datasets
It records what the app actually asked for, so an entity no recorded journey touched is not in the dataset and replay will not answer for it. Its own README asks for `fiori-tools-appreload` to be disabled while recording, because a reload loop is what happens otherwise.
UI5 dev server middleware adding an OpenID Connect login
UI5 middleware logging in with Playwright and reusing the session
UI5 server middleware proxying route prefixes to a backend
Release and repository quiet for 36 months.
UI5 middleware serving a locally built UI5 framework
UI5 middleware serving static resources from a path or npm package
Dev-server middleware proxying requests to a backend system
UI5 middleware including one UI5 application in another

UI5 builder task cachebusting standalone UI5 applications
UI5 builder task preparing build output for the cachebuster
Release and repository quiet for 66 months.
UI5 build task warning when the app's UI5 version reaches EOCP
The version list comes from ui5.sap.com, so a build that cannot reach it has nothing to match the project's version against. It checks the version written in `ui5.yaml`; a framework version a deployed app loads from elsewhere is outside what it sees.

UI5 plugins for coding agents
Guidance, not access: these are instructions handed to an agent, and what the agent can then read of your project comes from [@ui5/mcp-server](artifact:ui5-mcp-server) or the editor. A modernisation workflow that runs autonomously across a codebase is also a thing to point at a branch rather than at main.
SAPUI5 extension for Visual Studio Code
Its README assumes a `manifest.json` with an app ID, JavaScript files that start with `sap.ui.define`, and access to ui5.sap.com to preload the standard library metadata. It says of TypeScript that ts-morph, its parser there, has drawbacks, and that not all linters work for TypeScript.
Command-line linter for UI5 classes, XML views and i18n files
Two of its JavaScript and TypeScript checks, EventTypeLinter and WrongNamespaceLinter, apply to TypeScript projects only.
UI5 library of eight composite controls under the ui5x namespace
The README states that UI5X is in early development and that APIs may change before version 1.0. Styling covers the `sap_horizon` and `sap_fiori_3` families with their dark and high-contrast variants; any other theme falls back to the base theme.
