Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
Transactional processing of asynchronous and periodic CAP events
If you need sub-second fan-out to external consumers this is the wrong layer — reach for [Event Mesh](artifact:btp-event-mesh) or Kafka. Without [Redis](external:redis), periodic processing still works but instant dispatch degrades to polling.
SDK for SAP Advanced Financial Closing scheduling providers on CDS
CAP integration with SAP Integration Suite advanced event mesh
Exports AsyncAPI documents for a CAP service's events
CAP Node.js attachments with database, S3, Azure or GCP storage
Monorepo of CAP's SQL database services
Base service shared by CAP's SQLite, PostgreSQL and HANA services
Consumes events from SAP Cloud Application Event Hub in CAP
SAP HANA database service for CAP
Business notifications from CAP to SAP Build WorkZone
PostgreSQL database service for CAP
Prints documents held in CAP entities through SAP Print service
CAP attachments stored in an SAP Document Management repository
If document versions are required, [@cap-js/sdm](artifact:cap-js-sdm) excludes versioned repositories in its [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-js/sdm/ad13b61f21816ebead2d08264a74521cfb75846c/README.md).
SQLite database service for CAP, in memory during development
CLI for DROP and RENAME schema changes beside @cap-js/postgres
Annotation-driven mail on CAP entity lifecycle events
Node below 22, or [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) below 9: the package declares the first in engines and the second as a peer dependency. Any mail path other than Microsoft Graph, until a provider is written for it: graph is the only kind that sends, and basic, the kind configured by default, is the base class such a provider extends.
CDS annotation vocabulary for entity search with schema discovery
The metadata is inconsistent: the declared repository is github.com/acme/search-vocab and the README installs @acme/search-vocab, neither of which matches the published name. One release, November 2025.
MCP server with forty-five tools across a Datasphere tenant
It writes and it administers — ETL extraction and database user management are not read operations, and the same connection that profiles a column can move data out of the tenant. Masking is only as good as the configuration naming the fields, so an unlisted sensitive column is an unmasked one.
Copy of @cap-js/notifications published under another scope
Reach for the original unless you know why you are not. This is a republished copy rather than a fork with a direction of its own: the README points at cap-js/notifications for the details, and nothing here says what was changed or why.
CAP plugin casting read values back to CDS model types
CAP plugin stripping whitespace from strings on write via @cds.trim
CAP plugin uppercasing strings on write via @cds.uppercase

Multitenancy, tenant provisioning and extensibility for CAP
Calls to ABAP function modules over RFC from a CAP service
SAP's Node.js driver for SAP HANA
Node.js deployer for SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure containers
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
ABAP class for descriptive statistics over an internal table
JSON adapter exposing ABAP function modules over HTTP
Input arrives only as JSON, or as plain XML if the ABAP built-in transformation is switched on, whatever the output format is set to. Cross-site calls are limited to JSONP: the maintainer lists CORS support as planned.
Framework for multi-step ABAP processes with monitoring
Only on SAP S/4HANA 2023 and 2025, on premise or private cloud: [SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition](external:sap-s4hana-cloud-public-edition) and the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) are listed as coming soon, and a 2023 system has to leave out `ZABAP_PRC_EVENTS_SE_2025`, whose event-based side effects rely on APIs released with S/4HANA 2025. Not for a system that already carries a copy, because object names are global and two versions cannot live side by side, and not for a productive system by way of the `ZABAP_PRC_DEMO*` packages, which the README states are not intended for one and whose init classes delete and rebuild their own tables on every run. While the major version is 0 the public API is not stable: minor bumps carry breaking changes with no deprecation period, so productive use means pinning a tag and reading the CHANGELOG before every upgrade.
Office add-in running an abap2UI5 app in Excel's task pane
Upload, edit and download ABAP table content as JSON, CSV or XLSX
Not an end-user app: it reads from any table the user names and writes into tables of the Z/Y namespace, with no authorisation check of its own, so the README asks a project to add its own checks on `S_TABU_DIS`/`S_TABU_NAM` and to restrict who may run it before it is used beyond a development system. XLSX upload and download are not ready for ABAP Cloud yet, and of the upload apps only the JSON one writes the file's rows back to the database.
Library that reads and generates Excel spreadsheets from ABAP
Maps clipboard, Excel or text data onto a declared ABAP structure
Utility for update task database changes and internal tables in ABAP
Exports and imports ABAP table content as zipped JSON
Helper methods over abap2xlsx for Excel, JSON and tables
Yeoman generator for Cloud Connector mappings and BTP destinations
MCP server for BW/4HANA modelling objects
Its README says it plainly and so does this entry: this is not a simulation, every tool call reaches a live BW system, and write operations produce real changes. BW modelling objects are the definition of a warehouse — the blast radius of a wrong one is every report built on it.
CAP Node.js attachments plugin with database or cloud storage
Collaborative draft support for CAP Node.js services
The maintainer marks this under active development; public APIs, annotation names and OData contracts may still change.
Annotation-driven geocoding, address correction and routing for CAP
Nothing about it is readable from outside the package: there is no repository, no issue tracker, and the npm page carries no readme, so the README, the examples and the changelog can be read only from the tarball or a CDN mirror, and a bug has nowhere to be filed. Provider URLs are called from the plugin with API keys taken from environment variables in a .env file, so on BTP no call resolves through a destination and the keys live in the environment. The npm line stops at 1.0.1 on 3 November 2025; the changelog shipped inside that version is headed v2.1, so the version npm shows and the version the author counts are not the same.
Tunnels CAP Node.js to a private PostgreSQL via Cloud Connector
CAP database adapter for Snowflake with OData V4 support
The maintainer marks this early development; expect the contract to move.
User details and quickview links for createdBy and modifiedBy
Prebuilt SAP S/4HANA integration package for CAP projects
CAP caching plugin for query results and remote service responses
When user-dependent responses are cached without user-aware or explicit operation keys, or translated responses share keys across locales. These cases require key isolation; locale-aware keys are off by default.
Data federation for CAP via delegation, caching and replication
Scheduled READ, MAP, WRITE pipelines between CAP services
CAP Java plugin for soft delete with a softdelete aspect
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary The Maven coordinate its README gives, io.github.miyasuta:cds-feature-softdelete:1.0.0, does not resolve on Maven Central as of 2026-09-07 — you build and install it from source.
CAP-to-CAP data federation over SAP HANA synonyms
When your adoption policy excludes experimental dependencies: the [maintainer’s README](https://github.com/cap-js/cds-federation-synonyms#about-this-project) explicitly labels this plugin experimental.
MongoDB as a CAP database service through Mongoose
It declares no peer range on [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) and publishes no repository, so there is nothing to read but the package itself and no CI to look at.
Fills a CDS element from a database-backed number range
CAP plugin turning DELETE into a flag on annotated entities
It changes what DELETE means for every client of the annotated projection, so anything that must actually remove a row — an erasure request, a retention job — has to go around it.
Spreadsheet upload into a CDS entity, parsed on the server
Maps database tables and fields to the CDS views exposing them
Not on the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) or another cloud ABAP system: the maintainer states the tool is not cloud ready, because the data sources and system tables it reads CDS metadata from are not released for cloud development. It is designed for SAP S/4HANA on-premise or private cloud, and the shipped Fiori application is configured for A4H and developer systems.
CAP Java plugin for SAP Integration Suite, advanced event mesh
CAP Java attachments with database storage and an Object Store module
For deployed environments, the [README](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/cds-feature-attachments/302f61c8bb76a0f54f43482ad91d89bf7dc5540f/README.md) excludes the cds-feature-attachments-fs file-system target, which is intended only for local development and testing.
Connects CAP Java messaging to SAP Cloud Application Event Hub
Business notifications from CAP Java via SAP Alert Notification
CAP Java plugin for attachments in SAP Document Management
If document versions are required, the [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-java/sdm/673769f24ef66fd97daa6a6be41262d45065d3fe/README.md) exclude versioned repositories.
dbt adapter targeting SAP HANA Cloud as its warehouse
DuckDB extension reading SAP ERP tables, CDS views and BW queries
DataZoo GmbH calls the extension experimental and states that minimal testing and benchmarking were done. The Business Source License 1.1 it carries restricts offering the software to third parties on a hosted or embedded basis, so an embedding product needs a commercial licence. Telemetry is on by default and is switched off per session with `SET erpl_telemetry_enabled = false` or for the machine with `DATAZOO_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1`.
RFC client for Node.js and TypeScript without the NW RFC SDK
BUSL-1.1 rather than node-rfc's Apache-2.0, so a product you distribute has to be read against the licence and its Additional Use Grant first, and the source is closed: the GitHub repository is the issue tracker and the documentation, nothing else. `RfcServerOptions.bgRfcHandlers` raises instead of accepting handlers, so a server receiving inbound bgRFC units is outside what this does. An ABAP `MESSAGE`-raised failure still arrives with its T100 template rather than the rendered sentence, and the dump name is not reported as `key` for that case.
