Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
Transactional processing of asynchronous and periodic CAP events
If you need sub-second fan-out to external consumers this is the wrong layer — reach for [Event Mesh](artifact:btp-event-mesh) or Kafka. Without [Redis](external:redis), periodic processing still works but instant dispatch degrades to polling.
SDK for SAP Advanced Financial Closing scheduling providers on CDS
CAP integration with SAP Integration Suite advanced event mesh
Exports AsyncAPI documents for a CAP service's events
CAP Node.js attachments with database, S3, Azure or GCP storage
Monorepo of CAP's SQL database services

Consumes events from SAP Cloud Application Event Hub in CAP
SAP HANA database service for CAP
Business notifications from CAP to SAP Build WorkZone
PostgreSQL database service for CAP
Prints documents held in CAP entities through SAP Print service
CAP attachments stored in an SAP Document Management repository
If document versions are required, [@cap-js/sdm](artifact:cap-js-sdm) excludes versioned repositories in its [documented restrictions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cap-js/sdm/ad13b61f21816ebead2d08264a74521cfb75846c/README.md).
SQLite database service for CAP, in memory during development
Renamed copy of @cap-js/notifications under another scope
Release and repository quiet for 24 months.
CLI for DROP and RENAME schema changes beside @cap-js/postgres
Annotation-driven mail on CAP entity lifecycle events
Node below 22, or [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) below 9: the package declares the first in engines and the second as a peer dependency. Any mail path other than Microsoft Graph, until a provider is written for it: graph is the only kind that sends, and basic, the kind configured by default, is the base class such a provider extends.
CDS annotation vocabulary for entity search with schema discovery
The metadata is inconsistent: the declared repository is github.com/acme/search-vocab and the README installs @acme/search-vocab, neither of which matches the published name. One release, November 2025.
MCP server with forty-five tools across a Datasphere tenant
It writes and it administers — ETL extraction and database user management are not read operations, and the same connection that profiles a column can move data out of the tenant. Masking is only as good as the configuration naming the fields, so an unlisted sensitive column is an unmasked one.
Copy of @cap-js/notifications published under another scope
Reach for the original unless you know why you are not. This is a republished copy rather than a fork with a direction of its own: the README points at cap-js/notifications for the details, and nothing here says what was changed or why.
CAP plugin casting read values back to CDS model types
CAP plugin stripping whitespace from strings on write via @cds.trim
CAP plugin uppercasing strings on write via @cds.uppercase
CAP plugin watching Cardano addresses and emitting events
DB2 adapter for CDS
The README is one line and the package carries no licence field. Last released July 2023. The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.
Fork of cds-dbm with deploy, load, diff and drop tasks
Release and repository quiet for 39 months.
CAP plugin wrapping the SAP Forms service by Adobe on BTP
Destination lookup and connectivity proxy for the Cloud SDK
HTTP client carrying a destination's credentials
Shared machinery under the Cloud SDK's OData and OpenAPI clients
Generated OpenAPI clients for the Cloud SDK
Timeouts, retries and circuit breaking around remote calls
General utilities shared across the Cloud SDK packages
CAP Node.js runtime
ISO content for CAP's countries, languages, currencies and timezones
Compiler from CDS models to CSN, EDMX and database schemas
Command line client and development toolkit for CAP
Database adapter for SAP HANA in CAP
Multitenancy, tenant provisioning and extensibility for CAP
Calls to ABAP function modules over RFC from a CAP service
SAP's Node.js driver for SAP HANA
Node.js deployer for SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure containers
Node module for CAP calling external APIs through a destination
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 57 months.
Functional boundary The package declares `@sap/cds` ^4.5.2 among its dependencies and pins `@sap-cloud-sdk/core` at 1.37.1, so a project on CAP 5 or later is outside the range it states.
CAP Node.js attachments plugin with Object Store and malware scanning
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
Modelling layer of ABAP Cloud above database tables
Nothing to choose here and nothing to install: it is what an ABAP Cloud system gives you. It shares a name and a lineage with CAP's CDS but is a different language in a different runtime, and a model does not move between them.
ABAP component importing XLSX or CSV files into RAP business objects
ABAP class for descriptive statistics over an internal table
JSON adapter exposing ABAP function modules over HTTP
Input arrives only as JSON, or as plain XML if the ABAP built-in transformation is switched on, whatever the output format is set to. Cross-site calls are limited to JSONP: the maintainer lists CORS support as planned.
Generates singleton ABAP cache classes from a macro call
No published releases; repository quiet for 26 months.
Framework for multi-step ABAP processes with monitoring
Only on SAP S/4HANA 2023 and 2025, on premise or private cloud: [SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition](external:sap-s4hana-cloud-public-edition) and the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) are listed as coming soon, and a 2023 system has to leave out `ZABAP_PRC_EVENTS_SE_2025`, whose event-based side effects rely on APIs released with S/4HANA 2025. Not for a system that already carries a copy, because object names are global and two versions cannot live side by side, and not for a productive system by way of the `ZABAP_PRC_DEMO*` packages, which the README states are not intended for one and whose init classes delete and rebuild their own tables on every run. While the major version is 0 the public API is not stable: minor bumps carry breaking changes with no deprecation period, so productive use means pinning a tag and reading the CHANGELOG before every upgrade.
Office add-in running an abap2UI5 app in Excel's task pane
Upload, edit and download ABAP table content as JSON, CSV or XLSX
Not an end-user app: it reads from any table the user names and writes into tables of the Z/Y namespace, with no authorisation check of its own, so the README asks a project to add its own checks on `S_TABU_DIS`/`S_TABU_NAM` and to restrict who may run it before it is used beyond a development system. XLSX upload and download are not ready for ABAP Cloud yet, and of the upload apps only the JSON one writes the file's rows back to the database.

Helper methods over abap2xlsx for Excel, JSON and tables
Yeoman generator for Cloud Connector mappings and BTP destinations
MCP server for BW/4HANA modelling objects
Its README says it plainly and so does this entry: this is not a simulation, every tool call reaches a live BW system, and write operations produce real changes. BW modelling objects are the definition of a warehouse — the blast radius of a wrong one is every report built on it.
