Agentic coding assistant in ABAP that runs as an SAP GUI report
SAP GUI browser for tables, views, CDS views and joins
A system below ABAP 7.50: some of the classes it uses are only available from 7.50, and the maintainer states that downward compatibility to 7.40 in a single branch is currently not possible without resorting to dynamic programming.
Transport release check gated by GitHub pull request approval
Not below SAP_BASIS 7.40 SP08, and not on [SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition](external:sap-s4hana-cloud-public-edition) or [the SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment), where the classic transport check, the report and job calls and the cluster table `INDX` it rests on do not exist and the maintainer names gCTS as the answer instead. Only on a development system where every developer is trusted: each developer's GitHub token is kept in a cluster table encrypted with a key held in the same table, so anybody who can run ABAP on that system can read both, and the separation between author and reviewer holds only as far as that trust does. Not where the gate has to be unconditional — `#NOREVIEW` in a request's short text skips the check for that request, `ZTR_DISABLED` switches it off for a system, a check that cannot reach GitHub lets the release go on, and nothing checks who writes the marker.
Upload, edit and download ABAP table content as JSON, CSV or XLSX
Not an end-user app: it reads from any table the user names and writes into tables of the Z/Y namespace, with no authorisation check of its own, so the README asks a project to add its own checks on `S_TABU_DIS`/`S_TABU_NAM` and to restrict who may run it before it is used beyond a development system. XLSX upload and download are not ready for ABAP Cloud yet, and of the upload apps only the JSON one writes the file's rows back to the database.
Git server implemented in ABAP for abapGit clients
SAP GUI transaction for one-click transports of copies
SAP GUI tool for static analysis of ABAP call flow and code metrics
SAP GUI version explorer and code reviewer for transport requests
Exports and imports ABAP table content as zipped JSON
Maps database tables and fields to the CDS views exposing them
Not on the [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) or another cloud ABAP system: the maintainer states the tool is not cloud ready, because the data sources and system tables it reads CDS metadata from are not released for cloud development. It is designed for SAP S/4HANA on-premise or private cloud, and the shipped Fiori application is configured for A4H and developer systems.
Reports Clean Core ATC results per system as Level A to D KPIs
Uploads, downloads and imports ABAP transport requests as files
Read-only SAP GUI report listing where HCM object data is stored
Metadata viewer for SAP BW, SAP BPC and SAP BW/4HANA object models
ABAP report downloading SAPUI5 adaptation project artifacts
Local ABAP server serving /IWBEP/ OData v2 without an SAP system
Not a system to run a business application on: there is no business application in it, and what it implements of the language, the dictionary and Gateway is a stated subset of each. It is a clean-room reimplementation of the `/IWBEP/` interfaces that bundles no SAP source and no standard DDIC, so a service that reads standard objects has nothing to read, and `ANORMALIES.md` records every place the runtime differs from SAP before any workaround is written.
Thirty classic transactions rebuilt as abap2UI5 apps
Not on ABAP Cloud: the system tables and the classic Workbench APIs the screens use are not released for the ABAP Cloud language version, and there is no 7.02 version below the 7.50 floor either. Not where the full original function is needed, since only the listed transactions exist and about 300 buttons and fields are shown disabled. The authorization checks are rebuilt rather than the originals, which is why the README asks that the screens be tried with a restricted user on a sandbox before the ICF service is opened to more people.
Table content browser in abap2UI5, for ABAP Cloud and on premise
Not as it stands on a system past development: it reads the contents of any table the user names without an authorisation check of its own, so access is bounded only by whatever restrictions exist on the underlying handler or service. The README asks for your own checks first, naming `AUTHORITY-CHECK` on `S_TABU_DIS`/`S_TABU_NAM`, and for a restriction on who may run the app. There is no 7.02 downport either, because the selection-screen dependency has no `702` branch.
Multi-window SAP GUI explorer for tables, views and CDS SQL views
SAP GUI debugger script recording steps so execution can run backwards
Browser-based SQL console built on abap2UI5
It runs whatever SQL a user types without an authorisation check of its own, and the native path additionally uses ADBC, which bypasses ABAP authorisations and client separation; the README asks anyone running it beyond a development system to add authorisation checks and restrict who may start the app. The native console needs Standard ABAP, so on ABAP Cloud only the Open SQL console is available.
Browser-based table maintenance UI built on abap2UI5
The app writes to whatever table is passed in the URL parameter `table` and carries no authorisation check of its own, so past a development system it needs authorisation checks added and a restriction on who may run it.
Helper programs around abapGit
Where abapGit itself is not installed in the system, since every tool here acts on its repositories.
Uploads and downloads Code Inspector check variants as XML
Generic ABAP table editor writing its own change documents
Open SQL editor for ABAP with ALV output
ESLint plugin with one consultancy's rules for CDS files
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Shared ESLint configuration for SAPUI5 and CAP projects
Compiler from a CDS service to SEGW model and data provider classes
The generated files are copied or deployed into the ABAP system by hand, the fourth step of its own usage list, so nothing keeps an activated service in step with the model it was generated from. Its peer dependency is `@sap/cds` ^9.8, so it does not install into a project on an earlier CAP release.
Windows build packaging Eclipse with ADT as a portable IDE
CDS build task compiling TypeScript sources during cds build
ESLint rules flagging deprecated CAP configuration
UI5 middleware recording OData traffic as mock server datasets
It records what the app actually asked for, so an entity no recorded journey touched is not in the dataset and replay will not answer for it. Its own README asks for `fiori-tools-appreload` to be disabled while recording, because a reload loop is what happens otherwise.
UI5 build task warning when the app's UI5 version reaches EOCP
The version list comes from ui5.sap.com, so a build that cannot reach it has nothing to match the project's version against. It checks the version written in `ui5.yaml`; a framework version a deployed app loads from elsewhere is outside what it sees.
UI5 builder task generating d.ts type declarations
UI5 builder task minifying HTML, CSS and JSON files
Annotation-driven mail on CAP entity lifecycle events
Node below 22, or [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) below 9: the package declares the first in engines and the second as a peer dependency. Any mail path other than Microsoft Graph, until a provider is written for it: graph is the only kind that sends, and basic, the kind configured by default, is the base class such a provider extends.
Generates an MCP server from annotated CDS entities and actions
Protocol adapter serving CAP data as TOON instead of JSON
CDS annotation vocabulary for entity search with schema discovery
The metadata is inconsistent: the declared repository is github.com/acme/search-vocab and the README installs @acme/search-vocab, neither of which matches the published name. One release, November 2025.
LangGraph Store keeping agent memory as CDS entities
LangGraph checkpointer backed by CDS for CAP agents
MCP server inside a CAP application with model and query tools
Copy of @cap-js/notifications published under another scope
Reach for the original unless you know why you are not. This is a republished copy rather than a fork with a direction of its own: the README points at cap-js/notifications for the details, and nothing here says what was changed or why.
CAP plugin casting read values back to CDS model types
CAP plugin stripping whitespace from strings on write via @cds.trim
CAP plugin uppercasing strings on write via @cds.uppercase
CAP plugin serving the Cardano blockchain as OData V4
CAP plugin indexing the Midnight blockchain, exposed as OData V4
CAP plugin watching Cardano addresses and emitting events
CAP plugin wrapping the SAP Forms service by Adobe on BTP
CAP plugin controlling CDS logger and OpenTelemetry log verbosity
CAP service kind putting eleven model providers behind one API
Vector storage and similarity search on SAP HANA from CAP
Exposes an annotated CDS service as an Agent-to-Agent agent
No public repository is declared on the package, so the README is the documentation.
UI5 web interface for an agent built in a CAP service
Not where the agent is reached over anything other than A2A: the README states the plugin does not speak anything other than A2A as @cap-js/agents serves it. Not where an upgrade has to be uneventful either — it pins @cap-js/agents to exactly 0.9.1, calls that package pre-1.0 and days old at the time of writing, and says this plugin inherits that instability and to expect breakage on upgrade.
CAP Node.js attachments plugin with database or cloud storage
Collaborative draft support for CAP Node.js services
The maintainer marks this under active development; public APIs, annotation names and OData contracts may still change.
Playback-only SAP Companion (Help4) workarea served from CAP
Not behind a managed approuter: SAP Build Work Zone does not expose the `/$companion/**` routes, so Companion never reaches CAP, and the README names managed approuter and Work Zone as out of scope for v1. Not where help has to be authored in a browser, since the editor, the producer and writes are absent and content lives in files the plugin compiles.
Convention-based handler layer for CAP with draft lifecycle hooks
Annotation-driven geocoding, address correction and routing for CAP
Nothing about it is readable from outside the package: there is no repository, no issue tracker, and the npm page carries no readme, so the README, the examples and the changelog can be read only from the tarball or a CDN mirror, and a bug has nowhere to be filed. Provider URLs are called from the plugin with API keys taken from environment variables in a .env file, so on BTP no call resolves through a destination and the keys live in the environment. The npm line stops at 1.0.1 on 3 November 2025; the changelog shipped inside that version is headed v2.1, so the version npm shows and the version the author counts are not the same.
Policy enforcement and field masking for MCP-enabled CAP apps
MCP server generated from a CDS model, forked from @gavdi/cap-mcp
Not published to npm. Install from source.
Integration of CAP with n8n workflows and triggers
Tunnels CAP Node.js to a private PostgreSQL via Cloud Connector
CAP database adapter for Snowflake with OData V4 support
The maintainer marks this early development; expect the contract to move.
UI5 frontend performance and error capture for CAP
User details and quickview links for createdBy and modifiedBy
Custom messages and handler classes for CAP input validation
Azure AD and Azure AD B2C authentication strategy for CAP
Last released January 2022 at 0.0.21, against a passport strategy Microsoft has since deprecated.
CAP caching plugin for query results and remote service responses
When user-dependent responses are cached without user-aware or explicit operation keys, or translated responses share keys across locales. These cases require key isolation; locale-aware keys are off by default.
Data federation for CAP via delegation, caching and replication
Scheduled READ, MAP, WRITE pipelines between CAP services
Captures CAP service errors, deduplicates them and mails alerts
Alerting by mail is not telemetry — if you need traces and metrics correlated across handlers, that is a different layer. It also publishes no repository, so the package is the only thing to read.
CAP Java plugin for soft delete with a softdelete aspect
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Functional boundary The Maven coordinate its README gives, io.github.miyasuta:cds-feature-softdelete:1.0.0, does not resolve on Maven Central as of 2026-09-07 — you build and install it from source.
Sandbox launchpad for all SAPUI5 apps in a CAP workspace
MongoDB as a CAP database service through Mongoose
It declares no peer range on [@sap/cds](artifact:sap-cds) and publishes no repository, so there is nothing to read but the package itself and no CI to look at.
Fills a CDS element from a database-backed number range
CAP plugin turning DELETE into a flag on annotated entities
It changes what DELETE means for every client of the annotated projection, so anything that must actually remove a row — an erasure request, a retention job — has to go around it.
Swagger UI for a CAP service's OpenAPI definition
CDS plugin and UI5 controls for AI text features via SAP AI Core
It is text processing, not an agent: there is no tool calling, no retrieval and no conversation. It needs SAP AI Core, and the backend half needs [@sap-ai-sdk/orchestration](artifact:sap-ai-sdk-orchestration) installed alongside it — an optional peer, so a frontend-only install stays lean.
CAP plugin rendering UI5 views with entity data on the server
On the UI5 path what comes back is an XML view or fragment with the data already substituted, streamed as the entity's media content, rather than an HTML page — the README calls this pre-rendering, and only the Vue path produces markup. The view kept under `srv/` has its UI5 bindings replaced by Handlebars expressions, so it is a second copy of the view, separate from the one the application ships. Version 1.0.8 declares `@sap/cds` `>=8` as its peer dependency, which puts a project on CAP 7 outside its stated range.
Serves a Vite app through cds watch and imports .cds files
Compares a CAP project's CSV data with its database rows
CLI for DROP and RENAME schema changes beside @cap-js/postgres
CLI translating UI5 i18n.properties files with OpenAI
CLI starting several CAP services and an AppRouter locally together
CLI of CAP development tools for Cloud Foundry workflows
There is no repository and no README: what the eight commands do is only readable from the compiled dist that ships in the package. Three of them — npmrc, install, project — are written for "SimpleMDG" projects rather than for CAP generally, so the reusable part is bind-local, run-local and debug. Seven releases up to July 2026. Its binding step writes the resolved VCAP_SERVICES into default-env.json in the project, where [@sap/cds-dk](artifact:sap-cds-dk) keeps only the place the credentials can be fetched from, so a project using it needs that file kept out of version control.

Rule-based checker for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 projects
Not in a project whose dependencies must all carry an open-source licence: KAEV is proprietary software, its licence page states that downloading or viewing the npm package does not by itself grant permission to use, copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host or create derivative works, and the LICENSE file shipped with the package carries the controlling terms. Not as the last word on whether a UI5 application is secure: its rule reference states that a heuristic finding is not proof of a vulnerability, and its documentation puts professional security review beside it rather than under it.
CLI that pulls and pushes ABAP packages as local files over ADT
A Python 3.10+ CLI, installed with pipx rather than through any SAP-provided package manager. Its own README lists what it does not do yet: where-used, syntax check and unit test runs — for those it says to reach for [ADT/Eclipse](external:eclipse) or an MCP server. First release, v0.1.0, and no standalone LICENSE file in the repository — the MIT grant is in the README and in pyproject.toml's project metadata rather than its own file.
Refreshes the where-used list for objects in one package
ABAP navigation tasks and a grader for coding agents
Groups npm audit findings by root dependency, with failing thresholds
It audits through npm: a project that resolves its dependencies with another package manager, or has no `package.json`, has nothing for it to run. What it reports is what `npm audit` knows, so a vulnerability outside the npm advisory data is not in its table.
CLI generating TypeScript interfaces from a CDS model
PowerShell wizard installing Eclipse with ADT and plugins
Windows only, with PowerShell 7 (`pwsh`) installed; the run needs access to `download.eclipse.org`, `tools.hana.ondemand.com`, `eclipse.devepos.com` and the update site of every plugin selected, from the machine it installs on. A plugin outside the catalog is installed only after someone adds its update site and feature group id to `catalog.json`.
Static check that each exported TypeScript function has a test
It reads TypeScript exports only; a project written in plain JavaScript has no exported functions for it to extract. A call to the function name in a test file counts as tested, and a call through property access such as `.foo(` does not.
Shows which feature branches reached which environment branch
A team that does not keep one long-lived branch per environment has no environment branches for it to compare feature branches against. What it reports is the merge state of branches in Git, so it says nothing about whether a merged change has been built or deployed to the environment.
Regex naming rules for SAP HANA artifacts in a CAP project
Everything it checks is a name: a file name under `rootDir`, or an identifier a parser extracted from a file, so a convention that cannot be written as a regex over one name has no rule shape here. Content rules targeting `.hdbanalyticalprivilege` or `.hdbconstraint` return no results, which the README states as not yet implemented, so conventions centred on those two artifact types go unchecked.
Benchmark of LLM ABAP code generation against a real SAP system
Attaches a debugger to a CAP app running on Cloud Foundry
Terminal UI running Bruno collections against a CAP service
UI5 Tooling module deploying Fiori/UI5 apps to SAP systems
Command line running UI5 QUnit and OPA tests in parallel
Rust CLI and desktop app for exploring SAP OData services
Its README calls it early-stage — the core workflows run end-to-end against real systems and packaging, documentation and polish are stated as still evolving. A Rust binary rather than an npm install, so the platform build matters.
Local desktop workspace for AI conversations with SAP connectors
ABAP Keyword Documentation as Markdown with indexes
The Markdown is a snapshot of whatever help.sap.com served when the pipeline last ran, and the Standard library is scraped from the `latest` index, so which release a page describes follows from the scrape date rather than from anything the corpus states. `package.json` states ISC and the repository carries no LICENSE file, so what the copied SAP documentation may be used for is not stated in it.
Ten short CAP Java references, one document per topic
API documentation extracted from SAP-published npm packages
Interactive generator for CAP event handler files
Interactive project installer for CAP Node.js
Generates ABAP client classes and server stubs from OpenAPI
Fills db/data with relationally consistent CSV from a .cds schema
Yeoman generator for Application Frontend config in UI5 libraries
It targets the Application Frontend service only — not the HTML5 application repository — fixes authentication to IAS, and always creates new service instances, so reusing existing ones means editing the generated `mta.yaml` afterwards. Version 0.1.0 is the only release.
Eclipse plug-in turning JSON or XML into ABAP types and DDIC objects
On an [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) system only the generated code is left: DDIC creation is not supported on ABAP Cloud, because classic DDIC object creation over REST is not available there. Create DDIC is also disabled where ADT is not installed in the same Eclipse, and Insert into Editor then works with any editor implementing `ITextEditor` instead of the ABAP one.
Eclipse plugin showing the call hierarchy of ABAP members
Eclipse plugin searching ABAP sources from the search dialog
On a system below ABAP 7.51, or one without a connected HANA database, the client-based mode does not run, and the server-based mode is only available where the abap-code-search-tools backend is installed in the system.
VS Code extension editing ABAP systems over ADT as a filesystem
Eclipse plugin for ABAP object search and CDS view analysis
On a system where the abap-search-tools backend is not installed: the plugin lists it as a precondition, and the beta update site expects that backend's dev branch in particular.
Eclipse plugin for tagging ABAP repository objects
Three colour themes for ABAP source in ADT for Eclipse
Carries home-directory dotfiles from one BAS dev space to another
The exported file list is hard-coded, so a dev space whose setup lives in files the readme does not name is not carried across; the roadmap lists making the list flexible as open work. Nothing from the BAS profile is in the zip, so a developer who wants the colour scheme, the keymaps or the installed extensions uses the BAS profile export on its own.
Eclipse plugin bringing Claude into ABAP Development Tools
Eclipse plugin for the CDS language
Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
Eclipse plugin linking ABAP transports to SAP Cloud ALM features
An Eclipse installation older than the 2026-03 release, or a Java below 21, cannot take it: both are listed prerequisites, and 2026-03 is named as the oldest release the current ADT installs on. The tenant, region, client ID and client secret are entered per installation in Eclipse preferences, so each developer configures the Cloud ALM connection in their own IDE.
Collection of ABAP Development Tools IDE Actions
VS Code extension to serve, proxy, build and deploy UI5 projects
SAPUI5 extension for Visual Studio Code
Its README assumes a `manifest.json` with an app ID, JavaScript files that start with `sap.ui.define`, and access to ui5.sap.com to preload the standard library metadata. It says of TypeScript that ts-morph, its parser there, has drawbacks, and that not all linters work for TypeScript.
ADT extension for Eclipse and VS Code showing three SAP GUI tools
