Node.js deployer for SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure containers
CLI for Joule digital assistants and Joule Studio solutions
Pro-code CLI for building and deploying Joule Studio solutions
MCP server with five tools for Mobile Development Kit work
It expects a real landscape, not just a project: a `.service.metadata` file naming the Mobile Services app, endpoint and destination, the Cloud Foundry CLI, and access to a BTP Cloud Foundry environment. From 0.4.0 macOS support is ARM64 only — Intel Macs are not supported — alongside Linux and Windows on x64 and ARM64.
CLI to build, deploy, migrate and validate MDK projects
Specific to MDK metadata projects — nothing here builds or deploys a CAP service or a plain Fiori app. Closed-source, under SAP's own developer licence rather than a public repository.
Wrapper around the CDS compiler for annotation handling
OData annotation features for the @sap/vscode-cds extension
CDS language support for VS Code and Business Application Studio
Token validation and security context for XSUAA and IAS
Node module for CAP calling external APIs through a destination
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 57 months.
Functional boundary The package declares `@sap/cds` ^4.5.2 among its dependencies and pins `@sap-cloud-sdk/core` at 1.37.1, so a project on CAP 5 or later is outside the range it states.
CAP service kind putting eleven model providers behind one API
Vector storage and similarity search on SAP HANA from CAP
Runner for Bruno collections against XSUAA-protected CF apps
Node.js inspector tunnel over cf ssh to Cloud Foundry apps
File search in apps deployed to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry over cf ssh

Workspace-wide CSN cache for querying CAP entities and columns
Static end-to-end tracer of one CAP operation across repositories
SQLTools connection from a Cloud Foundry app's HANA binding
Rule-based checker for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 projects
Not in a project whose dependencies must all carry an open-source licence: KAEV is proprietary software, its licence page states that downloading or viewing the npm package does not by itself grant permission to use, copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host or create derivative works, and the LICENSE file shipped with the package carries the controlling terms. Not as the last word on whether a UI5 application is secure: its rule reference states that a heuristic finding is not proof of a vulnerability, and its documentation puts professional security review beside it rather than under it.
MCP server answering plain-English questions against a CDS schema
CAP Node.js attachments plugin with Object Store and malware scanning
Plugin-based JSX runtime for UI5 views written as .tsx
Lowercase HTML tags such as `<div>` typecheck but throw: the default renderer constructs UI5 controls, and the HTML-aware renderer plugin is described as planned. `withScope` restores the previous scope on a synchronous return only, so an `await` inside its callback leaks the scope on runtimes without `AsyncLocalStorage`. A view that has to stay adaptable through UI5 flexibility has no path here yet: the project's [Devtoberfest session](content:devtoberfest-2026-ui5-views-type-safe-tsx) states that flexibility support is not built in yet.
Scaffolded UI5 TypeScript app consuming the JSX runtime
It shows the wiring and a converted view pair, not the runtime's API surface; the directives, the plugin SPI and the binding forms are demonstrated in [@ui5-community/jsx-runtime-showcase](artifact:ui5-community-jsx-runtime-showcase) instead.
Showcase and documentation app of @ui5-community/jsx-runtime
Its views are not a template for application code: every showcase view overrides `getController()` to return itself so a sample stays readable in one file, and the gotchas page says not to ship that in production, where a view keeps a separate `*.controller.ts`. Routing from a sample, an `ODataModel` v2 or v4, `sap.ui.mdc.Table`, forms and custom control authoring in TSX are absent by decision and documented as deferred.
UI5 Tooling command line for project setup, dev server and build
Static analysis tool for UI5 projects
Internal logger of the UI5 CLI
MCP server for UI5 development with ten tools
It reads a UI5 project and the framework's own documentation, not a running system or a backend: a question about the service behind the app is answered somewhere else. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above.
UI5 CLI middleware for Istanbul code coverage
Deprecated UI5 Tooling extensions for UI5 Web Components wrappers
The declared repository is archived.
SAP's UI elements as standard custom elements
Not where the UI library itself is expected to bind data: the documentation leaves binding a component's content and events to the host framework. Not from a CDN script tag: the project publishes none, so it assumes a build step.
MCP server answering questions on UI5 Web Components
It answers from documentation and never opens your project, so it cannot tell you whether the component you are asking about is the one your application already uses. Node.js v20.17 or v22.9 and above; on Windows the command needs a `cmd /c` prefix.
Exposes an annotated CDS service as an Agent-to-Agent agent
No public repository is declared on the package, so the README is the documentation.
Library for managing ABAP constants from registered sources
Quiet No published releases; repository quiet for 41 months.
Functional boundary Not in a production environment yet: the maintainer puts abaK in beta, says its API can still change and more tests are needed, and asks that a non-beta release be waited for.
AWS's ABAP MCP server for Amazon Q Developer and Kiro
Written for Amazon Q Developer and Kiro, and the central deployment path is ECS Fargate — the further you are from AWS, the more of it is scaffolding you do not need. Python rather than the Node most of this group uses. Its README says the repository is no longer maintained and that the latest version of ABAP Accelerator is shared after registering with AWS for [Modernization Agents for SAP on AWS](https://github.com/aws-for-sap/Modernization-Agents-for-SAP-on-AWS).
Agentic coding assistant in ABAP that runs as an SAP GUI report
SAP reuse library for calling large language models from ABAP
Eclipse plug-in turning JSON or XML into ABAP types and DDIC objects
On an [SAP BTP ABAP environment](artifact:btp-abap-environment) system only the generated code is left: DDIC creation is not supported on ABAP Cloud, because classic DDIC object creation over REST is not available there. Create DDIC is also disabled where ADT is not installed in the same Eclipse, and Insert into Editor then works with any editor implementing `ITextEditor` instead of the ABAP one.
Eclipse plugin showing the call hierarchy of ABAP members
Modelling layer of ABAP Cloud above database tables
Nothing to choose here and nothing to install: it is what an ABAP Cloud system gives you. It shares a name and a lineage with CAP's CDS but is a different language in a different runtime, and a model does not move between them.
Eclipse plugin searching ABAP sources from the search dialog
On a system below ABAP 7.51, or one without a connected HANA database, the client-based mode does not run, and the server-based mode is only available where the abap-code-search-tools backend is installed in the system.
Configurable CSV reader and writer for ABAP
SAP's Eclipse plugins for ABAP development over ADT
It is an Eclipse install. A development object that is not native-integrated in Eclipse opens in the SAP GUI that is installed locally with the client.
SAP's ABAP tools in VS Code for editing, debugging, ATC and transports
JSON renderer and parser for ABAP with camelCase conversion
JSON encoder and decoder for ABAP, modelled on Go's encoding/json
No published releases; repository quiet for 49 months.
Swagger UI for SAP NetWeaver Gateway services
No published releases; repository quiet for 49 months.
VS Code extension editing ABAP systems over ADT as a filesystem
ABAP classes for calling Azure services from SAP processes
Eclipse plugin for ABAP object search and CDS view analysis
On a system where the abap-search-tools backend is not installed: the plugin lists it as a precondition, and the beta update site expects that backend's dev branch in particular.
Converts classic Open SQL SELECTs to released CDS entities
In beta by its own page's account, where conversion bugs may occur and not all functions and variants are supported yet. The shapes named as not yet supported are sub selects, FOR ALL ENTRIES, functions such as count and sum, and the IN operator with a value list, so a statement built on one of those is outside what the converter sets out to do.
ABAP component importing XLSX or CSV files into RAP business objects
ABAP class for descriptive statistics over an internal table
VS Code syntax highlighting for .abap files
Quiet No published releases; repository quiet for 27 months.
Functional boundary It binds to the .abap and .ABAP file extensions inside Visual Studio Code, so it does nothing for ABAP opened in another editor, or for source read from a system over ADT instead of from a file on disk.
Eclipse plugin for tagging ABAP repository objects
Open-source Z* version of /UI2/CL_JSON for ABAP to JSON
DeepL translation plugin for the B-Tocs ABAP SDK
No published releases; repository quiet for 32 months.
LibreTranslate plugin for the B-Tocs ABAP SDK
No published releases; repository quiet for 28 months.
B-Tocs ABAP SDK plugin connecting to Ollama models
No published releases; repository quiet for 28 months.
TypeScript library reaching ABAP service instances on Cloud Foundry
ABAP report running custom SQL queries into an ALV grid
Replays stored database snapshots in ABAP unit tests
No published releases; repository quiet for 28 months.
ABAP debugger extension drawing objects as a Graphviz graph
No published releases; repository quiet for 97 months.
ABAP client for the DeepL translation service
No published releases; repository quiet for 54 months.
JSON adapter exposing ABAP function modules over HTTP
Input arrives only as JSON, or as plain XML if the ABAP built-in transformation is switched on, whatever the output format is set to. Cross-site calls are limited to JSONP: the maintainer lists CORS support as planned.
Generates signed JSON Web Tokens in ABAP
No published releases; repository quiet for 68 months.
Object-oriented wrapper around the Business Application Log
Mustache template engine for ABAP
No published releases; repository quiet for 28 months.
Report pushing ABAP objects to SAP Translation Hub and back
No published releases; repository quiet for 43 months.
Scripts running the ABAP Developer Edition in Docker
No published releases; repository quiet for 83 months.
JS/TS client for the ADT resources of an ABAP system
Not a tool a developer runs: it is a library to build one with, and it ships no editor, command line or interface of its own. Its sample connects with a plain HTTP URL, a user and a password, so a system that does not expose the adt ICF service that way is out of reach.
CLI that pulls and pushes ABAP packages as local files over ADT
A Python 3.10+ CLI, installed with pipx rather than through any SAP-provided package manager. Its own README lists what it does not do yet: where-used, syntax check and unit test runs — for those it says to reach for [ADT/Eclipse](external:eclipse) or an MCP server. First release, v0.1.0, and no standalone LICENSE file in the repository — the MIT grant is in the README and in pyproject.toml's project metadata rather than its own file.
ABAP-native MCP endpoint that drives opted-in abap2UI5 apps
Stateful apps cannot be operated: a stateful session lives in one HTTP request and an MCP call is one request, so `app_start` refuses them. The repository carries no release yet and states the addon has not been run in production use, the 7.02 downport is lint-only with no 7.02 system having run it, and the ABAP Cloud HTTP service setup is written down but still to verify on your own system.
abapGit package adding create, modify and delete tools to ABAP AI Code
MCP server SDK written in ABAP
Server side only, and deliberately: the author states there is no realistic way to support the SSE streaming a client needs, so there are no notifications, no `listChanged`, no `subscribe` and no logging. It is also frozen — protocol versions up to 2025-11-25 and no further, with everything after that in a separate V2 SDK, so starting here today is starting on a closed branch.
Stateless ABAP MCP server SDK for the 2026-07-28 protocol draft
Stateless by design: with no `Mcp-Session-Id` and no SSE, notifications of any kind, `resources/subscribe` and stream-close cancellation are excluded, which the author states are protocol-level impossibilities on stateless ICF rather than gaps to be filled later within this design. ABAP Cloud is not supported and not planned, the stated reason being SAP pushing its own MCP strategy and features in BTP; the first iteration targets 7.5x classic, with 7.02 to 7.4x served from a separate generated downport repository. No authorization object and no default auth check are delivered, so a user who may call the ICF node may call every `AREA`/`SERVER` registered under it until `check_authorization` is redefined.
ALV table view generated from a DDIC structure
No published releases; repository quiet for 58 months.
Generates singleton ABAP cache classes from a macro call
No published releases; repository quiet for 26 months.
ADT backend for the ABAP Call Hierarchy Eclipse plugin
Report-style programming model for abap2UI5 on ABAP Cloud
Not a way to run existing reports unchanged: a report is rewritten as a class, and `CALL SCREEN`, dynpro modules, batch input, `SUBMIT` and native SQL are refused by the converter rather than mapped. Not an SAP GUI in the browser either: the programming model is classic and the screens are UI5, and the README points at abap2UI5-addons/sapgui for SE16N or SM37. Output has gaps the README names — ALV cells show dates and times as the model carries them rather than in the user's format, print is a text file because ABAP Cloud has no spool, and value tables for F4 are read on premise only.
Chainable logger for ABAP Cloud around CL_BALI_LOG
In-system ABAP source search by string or regular expression
Validation library for ABAP checking dates, emails and GUIDs
No published releases; repository quiet for 40 months.
SAP GUI browser for tables, views, CDS views and joins
A system below ABAP 7.50: some of the classes it uses are only available from 7.50, and the maintainer states that downward compatibility to 7.40 in a single branch is currently not possible without resorting to dynamic programming.
Node.js command writing PDF documentation for an ABAP package
Not reachable since 2026-10-20.
Framework for runtime parameters, ranges and value mappings in ABAP
OpenUI5 sample app set up with the UI5 CLI
Template for ABAP applications with an HTML UI
The declared repository is archived.
ABAP Keyword Documentation as Markdown with indexes
The Markdown is a snapshot of whatever help.sap.com served when the pipeline last ran, and the Standard library is scraped from the `latest` index, so which release a page describes follows from the scrape date rather than from anything the corpus states. `package.json` states ISC and the repository carries no LICENSE file, so what the copied SAP documentation may be used for is not stated in it.
