XSUAA authentication stack for an MCP server on SAP BTP
It stops at the `AuthInfo` and the raw bearer token, and the README lists what stays with the consuming server: rate limiting, the scope and tool policy, the MCP transport, the SAP HTTP client's headers, and helmet-style hardening. The one piece of hardening it constrains rather than defers is the cross-origin opener policy, which it deliberately leaves unset because popup-based OAuth breaks under it. It is ESM-only on Node 22 or later and shares the host's Express and MCP SDK instances as peer dependencies, so a server on Express 4 cannot take it.
Browser login and session module for SAP MCP servers
The maintainer states it is unofficial, not endorsed by SAP, and that it automates authenticated SAP web endpoints and browser session cookies in ways SAP's terms of service or an organisation's own policies may restrict. Password login is confined to `accounts.sap.com` and the standard SAP Cloud Identity Services tenant domains: a custom IAS domain, or a login that conditional authentication delegates to a corporate identity provider, fails closed before the password is filled and has to be completed through an interactive login instead.

OAuth2 token validation from XSUAA and SAP Cloud Identity Services
Former XSUAA JWT validation for CAP Java, removed in CAP Java 3.0

OAuth 2.0 grant flows for applications and APIs in Neo regions
OAuth server issuing JWTs and holding scopes for BTP apps
Registration, login and consent for customer-facing sites
Authorization from DCL policies for Node.js apps on SAP Cloud Identity
Compiler from AMS DCL policies to DCN for local runs and tests
Its own account of itself is local running and tests: the DCN it writes serves as input for running an application using AMS on the DCL bundle locally. It carries the SAP Developer License Agreement rather than an open-source licence, and the repository named in its package metadata is an internal SAP host, so the npm page is the only thing to read.
CAP Node.js runtime
Utility bundle for CAP handlers: builder, roles, validation, queries
It is a bundle rather than a plugin with one job, and a single release from March 2026 — depending on it for the query helpers brings the auth and validation layers too.
Maps Microsoft Entra ID groups and app roles onto cds.User roles
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 25 months.
Functional boundary It performs no authentication flow of its own. The app must already be protected by Entra ID OAuth 2.0 at the App Service level; this only maps the resulting claims. It is explicitly not intended to run locally.
Maven bill of materials pinning CAP Java module versions
OAuth 2.0 grant flows for applications and APIs in Neo regions
OAuth server issuing JWTs and holding scopes for BTP apps
Authority check helper class used across SchwarzIT's USI reports
Class-based wrapper around STRUST certificate management
Serves BTP applications under the customer's own domain
Updater for root CAs in SAP NetWeaver from Mozilla's certificate store
Not where the system must not trust whatever the source trusts: the README states that you must trust the source, currently Mozilla, because the system can then reach every website holding a certificate generated by a root CA that source supplies. It installs those root CAs automatically, and the maintainer marks the tool use at own risk.
Change history for annotated CAP entities
CDS plugin for OData change tracking in CAP applications
Change log of annotated entity fields for CAP Java
CAP integration with SAP Data Privacy Integration
CAP Node.js runtime
Registration, login and consent for customer-facing sites
APIs for retention, deletion and personal data reports
Retention rules triggering blocking, deletion and archiving
Service answering data subjects about their stored personal data
OpenPGP implementation in ABAP, scoped to signing
Not for anything important, which is the maintainer's own instruction: the README's Warning section calls it stupid to write your own encryption or PGP library, says abapPGP will most certainly contain severe bugs, and points instead at established PGP software such as [OpenPGP](http://openpgp.org/). Signing is the only scope it states.
Blowfish cipher in ABAP, ECB and CBC modes

Utility bundle for CAP handlers: builder, roles, validation, queries
It is a bundle rather than a plugin with one job, and a single release from March 2026 — depending on it for the query helpers brings the auth and validation layers too.
Custom messages and handler classes for CAP input validation
Zod schemas as CAP validation middleware
Maven bill of materials pinning CAP Java module versions
CAP plugin validating input against @Validator JSON Schema rules
Quiet Release and repository quiet for 30 months.
Functional boundary The annotation sits on a single element, so a rule that spans two fields, or one that needs a lookup, has nowhere in it to go.
Scans uploaded files over REST with ClamAV
Six CAP features in one package, from replication cache to rate limits
It is a bundle, not a plugin with one job. Depending on it for one feature brings the rest.
API proxies with security and traffic policies and Developer Hub
Rate-limit pattern for CAP Node.js applications
Last released January 2024 at 0.0.6. The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.
Vault for an application's passwords, keys and keyrings
Tracks vulnerabilities in open-source components of BTP apps
Groups npm audit findings by root dependency, with failing thresholds
It audits through npm: a project that resolves its dependencies with another package manager, or has no `package.json`, has nothing for it to run. What it reports is what `npm audit` knows, so a vulnerability outside the npm advisory data is not in its table.
Converts classic Open SQL SELECTs to released CDS entities
In beta by its own page's account, where conversion bugs may occur and not all functions and variants are supported yet. The shapes named as not yet supported are sub selects, FOR ALL ENTRIES, functions such as count and sum, and the IN operator with a value list, so a statement built on one of those is outside what the converter sets out to do.
Report-style programming model for abap2UI5 on ABAP Cloud
Not a way to run existing reports unchanged: a report is rewritten as a class, and `CALL SCREEN`, dynpro modules, batch input, `SUBMIT` and native SQL are refused by the converter rather than mapped. Not an SAP GUI in the browser either: the programming model is classic and the screens are UI5, and the README points at abap2UI5-addons/sapgui for SE16N or SM37. Output has gaps the README names — ALV cells show dates and times as the model carries them rather than in the user's format, print is a text file because ABAP Cloud has no spool, and value tables for F4 are read on premise only.
Injectable wrapper for SY fields and date functions in ABAP Cloud
Reports Clean Core ATC results per system as Level A to D KPIs
Hosted workspace redrawing custom ABAP as BPMN and grading it
Not reachable Not reachable since 2026-10-20.
Functional boundary The Level A–D grade merges SAP's two published files in the tool's own engine: it is an orientation rather than an ATC result and is left out of the signed audit pack, and the repository documents state by state where the grade is expected to differ from what the clean core ATC check reports. Nothing here runs ABAP Unit — on the RAP track that result is recorded from your own SAP system, and generated CAP tests run against mocks in an isolated runner rather than in a real SAP S/4HANA system. Tenants, organisation accounts, single sign-on, a self-hosted edition and write access through an API are deliberately not built, and one account has five analysis runs before a Gemini API key of its own is needed.
SAP's list of released APIs for SAP Cloud ERP with successors
It is a catalogue of SAP's objects and not a reading of your code: it states that an object is not released, never that you used it, and the finding is the ATC check's. For SAP Cloud ERP Private the files exist for feature pack stack releases only, with no update per support package, so a system between two stacks is checked against its stack's file.
Browser form over SAP's Cloudification Repository for ABAP Cloud
Not for an automated check: the answer arrives as a page in a browser, so a rule that has to run over a codebase, or an agent mid-task, needs the repository as data rather than as a form.
Clean ABAP check set for ABAP Cloud
Polyfill for CL_ABAP_CODEPAGE under Clean Core
AWS agents for ABAP, PI/PO and BW modernisation work
There is nothing to clone here: "Access is provided through a registration page. Once registered, you will receive access to the GitHub repository containing the agents, deployment guides, and documentation", and that repository answers 404 to anyone who has not registered, so neither the agent code nor the deployment guides can be read before the form is filled in. AWS states the agents are published as an unsupported solution, with customers responsible for testing and securing the code before deploying in production, and that they are intended for non-production SAP environments rather than production systems. The documentation link in the README is still a placeholder.
MCP server answering whether SAP objects are released for ABAP Cloud
It answers about the object catalogue, not about your code: nothing here reads your system, so it will tell you a table is not released and not that you used it. That check is ATC's, and this is what makes ATC's answer actionable.
UI5 app and CAP service copying role collections between subaccounts
Quiet No published releases; repository quiet for 54 months.
No license Neither the package manifest nor the repository tree declares a licence.
BTP Core Services as MCP tools with in-chat dashboards
It administers a real account through Core Services, so what it can change is what the caller can change. And the UI half depends on hosts that render mcp-ui or MCP Apps resources; elsewhere those five tools return markup nobody displays.
Containerised script setting up an SAP BTP account from JSON config
The declared repository is archived.
SAP-hosted MCP endpoint for BTP account administration
It acts on a real account. Authorisation is the caller's own — single sign-on through the SAP Default Identity Provider, across the global accounts that identity reaches — so what it can change is what you can change, and an agent invoking it is doing administration rather than proposing it. No public source, so what it exposes is what the documentation says it exposes.

Managed Kubernetes runtime on SAP BTP based on Kyma
VS Code extension editing ABAP systems over ADT as a filesystem
CLI that pulls and pushes ABAP packages as local files over ADT
A Python 3.10+ CLI, installed with pipx rather than through any SAP-provided package manager. Its own README lists what it does not do yet: where-used, syntax check and unit test runs — for those it says to reach for [ADT/Eclipse](external:eclipse) or an MCP server. First release, v0.1.0, and no standalone LICENSE file in the repository — the MIT grant is in the README and in pyproject.toml's project metadata rather than its own file.
SAP GUI transaction for one-click transports of copies
VS Code extension automating ActiveControl transport forms
Eclipse plugin linking ABAP transports to SAP Cloud ALM features
An Eclipse installation older than the 2026-03 release, or a Java below 21, cannot take it: both are listed prerequisites, and 2026-03 is named as the oldest release the current ADT installs on. The tenant, region, client ID and client secret are entered per installation in Eclipse preferences, so each developer configures the Cloud ALM connection in their own IDE.
MCP server for ABAP on the ADT session, in Eclipse or standalone
In the Eclipse mode the server lives in a developer's IDE, binds to 127.0.0.1 and answers any request carrying an `Origin` header with HTTP 403, so a pipeline or a remote agent has nothing to reach; the standalone mode on the runtime of the ADT for VS Code extension is the documented route with no IDE open. A new connection starts in write mode, so the 11 write tools are live against a connected system until someone presses Toggle Read-Only. The dropins route for the two bundles is documented as untested.
Uploads, downloads and imports ABAP transport requests as files
Adds a program's dependent objects to a transport request
Shows which feature branches reached which environment branch
A team that does not keep one long-lived branch per environment has no environment branches for it to compare feature branches against. What it reports is the merge state of branches in Git, so it says nothing about whether a merged change has been built or deployed to the environment.
Native macOS code editor for ABAP and CDS
It runs on macOS only. Hammer Core Services, the part installed into the SAP system, needs that system on ABAP Platform 2023 or newer with SAP_BASIS 758 or newer, and installing it needs a user who can create development objects and run background jobs in that system.

Report creating transports of copies without a new version
No published releases; repository quiet for 42 months.
CAP Node.js runtime
Library for managing ABAP constants from registered sources
Quiet No published releases; repository quiet for 41 months.
Functional boundary Not in a production environment yet: the maintainer puts abaK in beta, says its API can still change and more tests are needed, and asks that a non-beta release be waited for.

Generic customizing table and reader for ad hoc ABAP parameters

Theme, CSS and CSP settings of abap2UI5 pages kept in tables
`APP_TITLE` is not applied by the exit: the `title` field was removed from `z2ui5_if_ui5_exit=>ty_s_http_config` in abap2UI5 1.145.0, so an app that wants it as its browser tab title sets it while it runs. The live theme preview runs the frontend action `THEMING` / `setTheme` and needs UI5 1.118 or later; on an older release a saved theme applies with the next page load. The code is written for ABAP 7.50 and the README states there is no downported 7.02 version, no 702 branch and no workflow that builds one.
REST APIs for SAP BTP usage per metric and monthly cost
Python agent alerting on SAP AI Core capacity unit consumption
Generates Helm charts for the CAP Operator on Kubernetes
Tool completing a CAP project's deployment configuration
Tied to a specific training repository and last released August 2023. The repository the package declares has been deleted — verified against the GitHub API, not just a failed fetch. The package is still on npm, so it installs; the source it was published from is no longer readable, which is a harder thing to discover than a stale version number.

Scales Cloud Foundry app instances by policy rules and schedules
Moves MTA archives and content between SAP BTP accounts
Assembles BTP service content into an MTAR for transport
Deploys and manages MTA-based Solutions in the Neo environment
VS Code Multi-Target Application tools
MTA generation and Cloud Foundry deploy for VS Code workspaces
A library a VS Code extension calls, not something installed and run on its own; there is no documented standalone CLI. No public repository either, so what it does is read from its own README rather than checked against source.
CLI to build, deploy, migrate and validate MDK projects
Specific to MDK metadata projects — nothing here builds or deploys a CAP service or a plain Fiori app. Closed-source, under SAP's own developer licence rather than a public repository.
Framework activating custom ABAP enhancements through a Fiori app
Anything below SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS03 (ABAP 7.58), and any system not running the ABAP Cloud development model: those two are the prerequisites the README names, and it states that the framework targets ABAP Cloud exclusively.

Maven bill of materials pinning CAP Java module versions
Feature toggle framework for ABAP with a UI5 GUI
Quiet No published releases; repository quiet for 101 months.
Functional boundary Not where a toggle is meant to be switched on in a production system: the maintainer warns that features should never be enabled in a production system.
Boolean and string flags read by applications at runtime
CAP Node.js runtime
Transactional processing of asynchronous and periodic CAP events
If you need sub-second fan-out to external consumers this is the wrong layer — reach for [Event Mesh](artifact:btp-event-mesh) or Kafka. Without [Redis](external:redis), periodic processing still works but instant dispatch degrades to polling.

UI5 build task warning when the app's UI5 version reaches EOCP
The version list comes from ui5.sap.com, so a build that cannot reach it has nothing to match the project's version against. It checks the version written in `ui5.yaml`; a framework version a deployed app loads from elsewhere is outside what it sees.
